    Don't sell your bitcoin

JP Morgan is trying to push BTC as low as possible to buy it up for cheap. This is Bitcoin, not some random shitcoin. HODL, and godspeed.

When somebody tells you: "But Gold has 5,000 years performance history as an asset"

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 10:49 PM PDT

You can tell them: "... so did the horses as a transport medium, till we got a revolutionary technology that made them obsolete as a transport".

Same with electricity, computers, internet, email, cell phones, etc. Leaving behind other way of doing things for thousands of years.

Don't let this place become Wall Street Bets!

    Posted: 22 Apr 2021 03:17 AM PDT

Over the last few days, as Bitcoin has dropped in price, I have seen more and more tin foil hat posts blaming JP morgan, banks / whoever for why the price has dropped. The truth is we simply don't know and have no proof. I see that Lad Bible video being posted endlessly, they have absolutely fuck all to do with JP Morgan.

Could it be that many people are asking genuine questions about the sustainability around things like power requirements /wastage, threats to governments, and China's influence? (Yes is the answer).

No matter what you feel about these subject areas let's not lower ourselves to how the WSB forum acts, where they post endlessly about fighting the man and stirring up silly paranoia and ridiculous behaviour.

If you believe in Bitcoin, hodl it, if you don't and are afraid, sell it... it's that simple!

If a government like Turkey dictates what median of exchange of value you're only allowed to use.. it's time to change your government, not your currency.

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 04:57 AM PDT

The human race has exchanged many forms of his and services throughout the ages and Bitcoin is just another harmless example.

If a country stops or restricts you from exchanging digital units of cryptographically data for goods or services.. this should be viewed as an infringement of the very liberty and freedom that make us human.

My Bitcoin net worth is now .005

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 04:48 PM PDT

Close to 10 years ago I bought 3 bitcoins for $32 a pop, and lost them completely. After the price has shot up to "impossible" amounts over and over, I've had the mentality of "Well I've already missed the bus!" Multiple times over the years I've debated then decided against it. So much regret. Well today I finally pulled the trigger. I am now, happily, part of the tribe.

    Just stop for a moment.

    Posted: 22 Apr 2021 02:55 AM PDT

    1) Just stop what you are doing.

    2) Think with a really long term mindset.

    3) Be genuinelly thankful for being here right now, being part of this community, reading this post, being part, in the end, of the little "awake" humanity.

    4) Give a kiss to your beloved ones.

    5) HODL.

    6) Continue with your routine.

    Cheers!

    JP Morgan

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 03:17 PM PDT

JP Morgan is trying to put downward pressure on us so they can get in at dirt cheap prices. The vermin actually think that HODLR's are selling when actually it's the option day traders that liquidating. JP has a very, very, very long way to go before they know how strong minded we are. If they think we're selling because of a chart WRONG AGAIN! If JP wants to play in our sandbox JP will be playing by OUR rules. If you don't like our rules JP go back and with your shiny, yellow, metal, that was ripped out of the ground and has trashed the environment.

First time buying Bitcoin. Better late than never.

    Posted: 21 Apr 2021 09:04 PM PDT

Should have would have could have. Knew Bitcoin was a thing years ago, didn't have the money to invest, didn't have the wits to make a dime. Now I just invested 3k because fuck it, you only live once, whether you win or lose, at least I tried. All I have to say is I believe in it and it's better late than never.

Thank YOU for the HODL spirit!!

    Posted: 22 Apr 2021 01:20 AM PDT

Just another newbie sharing a few thoughts, you might probably skip ...

I'd like to thank you for keeping up the spirit right here. As I'm relatively new to actually putting my leftover money in anything that's not gin, whisky or gardening tools (I'm a humble man until that whole lambo on the moon thing is happening) I've already comitted my first beginner mistake: getting in after ATHs. Doing my research and talking to people every now and then I got convinced that I'm late compared to many people, but I'm early compared to most people. In combination with a classic touch of FOMO and a hint of lime zest filled up with soda chugged the drink... week by week by week, which I learned is called DCA.

Now I'm even newer to reddit, and duuuude that's a different world if you're used to fkn FB (for job reasons) and IG. I love the constructive, honest and relatable mindset in most subs, especially most crypto related ones - even tough some really suck.

Which brings me to my point: I already knew to only invest what I don't need now or in near future. I knew BTC is there to be hodled. I was nicely introduced by a friend I trust. Nevertheless the current situation seems to make a lot of people panicking, beginners first and foremost with big media outlets summoning "huge pressure on BTC" and stuff.

To read all the experiences right here in this community (yes it really feels like a community: listening to each other, helping being able to talk straight from your mind) is really consolidating my mindset no matter how loud they're screaming out there.

Let it go down more! Only pressure I feel is to buy more as it goes down and I can more easily afford more satoshis. You can see yourself as prepared as you think you can be - it's different REALLY being involved, and at this point it's big a supportive and positive mindset I get here.

SO LOVE GOES OUT TO YOU ✊🏻

(Hell yeah I know most of you are involved and don't want to go BTC down toooo much, so you keep us rookies motivated. But hell yesh I also feel that's honest, convinced and sometimes even altruistically motivated)

    Btc is crashing. (My ass)

    Posted: 22 Apr 2021 01:43 AM PDT

Mid week and I'm forced to read once again news about BTC carbon footprint, just non sense

I read a comment in another subreddit where someone said: Its clear that Btc is crashing.

Now what was that famous phrase?

BTC has reached a price never seen since last week?

It is called price consolidation you idiots and thank God it exist.

Said so, I would like to point out to a very interesting post from user u/atobitt where finally a lot of people start to to realize the importance of the blockchain technology. In case any of you missed it.
