Out of the 66 million LTC mined Posted: 29 Mar 2021 08:33 AM PDT How many LTC do you guys think are lost forever? The coin itself is pretty old like a decade so is anymore from 15 million to 20 million a good assumption? [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Mar 2021 07:14 AM PDT Hello ! Does the present (amazing) development being implemented on the Bitcoin Network with Lightning Network could be easily transposed to the Litecoin Network ? I got the point that LN technologies can run on Litecoin network but I am wondering if, once LN will run well on bitcoin, using LN for Litecoin will be just a matter of "copy past" for developers... Or everything has to be done again from beginning... Thanks, Have a good day! [link] [comments]

Should Litecoin develop a Treasury protocol to fund development? Posted: 29 Mar 2021 05:20 AM PDT I just saw this interesting post about a proposal for a treasury conversation in Ethereum Classic. https://medium.com/etccooperative/why-ethereum-classic-should-adopt-a-treasury-34e237fe8129 Litecoin is currently in a powerful position as the 2nd 'simple' POW chain. If Litecoin can maintain this position we could expect Litecoin to reach a good fraction of Bitcoin's marketshare, whether that is 10% or 20% or other. To maintain the 2nd position the Litecoin community will likely need to continue to develop the codebase. This costs money. So far we have operated via a voluntary donation model along with a large central benefactor (Charlie). Is this a sustainable model? I think the discussion that Ethereum Classic is having around having a built-in Treasury funded by mining/fees is worth following. What do others think about the Ethereum Classic treasury protocol proposal? Would something similar work for Litecoin? [link] [comments]

Best way/place to sell LiteCoin Posted: 29 Mar 2021 03:46 AM PDT Hi guys. I am pretty new to cryptos and have been trading through a broker for the last few months, but decided to actually buy some coins and hodl them in a wallet. I bought some Cardano coins that were converted into LiteCoin a while after buying them. I bought them on Binance with my MasterCard, but as far as I read, people are not very happy with Binance's cash out procedures. I also do see that there is no option if cashing out with MasterCard on Binance, but with VISA only. Please note that I am located in Europe and not all of the withdrawal options would work for me. I have a few Crypto ATMs in my city and am wondering if an ATM is the best and fastest way to cash out my coins? Thank you for your time. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Mar 2021 09:14 AM PDT Hi, I'm from a poor country so I think litecoin is the best option for me, because it has really cheap fees. I have some usdt trc20, where can I trade them for ltc? It's not to much and some exchanges require a minimun of 16 usdt trc20 for trading to ltc:(. Thank you. [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Mar 2021 02:45 PM PDT What platform do you use to hold? I had been using NEXO, but I saw that in BlockFi they give a higher APY of 6.5% for my litecoin and in NEXO only between 4% to 5% APY, sooo I changed to BlockFi [link] [comments]
