Can anyone come up with any technical reason why the above isn't completely true?

@jack selling his first tweet as an NFT for $2.5M raises all the right questions

    Posted: 09 Mar 2021 11:20 PM PST

Can the purchaser compel a takedown from Twitter?

How many copies of the original tweet exist in Twitter's backups?

Is there even an "original?" Wouldn't the original tweet be the bits as they existed on @jack's device at the time he tweeted it?

I made a screenshot. Did I make an unauthorized copy, like an illicit print of the Mona Lisa?

What exactly is "owned" under such an NFT? The bits? The image? The intellectual property? If I write "just setting up my twttr" have I stolen ip? Can I be sued? Would a judge be able to stop laughing long enough to award damages?

All of this is very something something got a bridge I'd like to sell you blah blah blah

I finally converted all my BTC to BCH at over the 100x mark

    Posted: 09 Mar 2021 05:50 AM PST

I've been struggling for months to hit "convert" while watching the ratio go up and down. Trying to convince myself I'll do it at "x".

I must have started the convert process thousands of times, staring at the screen for hours on end trying to tell myself just a few more sats and i'll do it...

Well today I finally did it.. I feel pretty sick given I know i'll miss out on potential 100k btc, but at the same time I feel more ideologically invested and well suited for envisioning a world where people actual transact.

Here's hoping for the first time in my life I made a good decision..

And thanks coinbase for taking 3% off the top

Plenty of opportunity to inform people about things in this thread about the power consumption of crypto; lots of discussion about transaction efficiency, costs of the monetary system, goals of crypto etc

    https://np.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/m16xqu/bitcoins_climate_problem_as_companies_and/

I tried explaining things at a few strategic points here and there in that thread; but I'm running on a very limited budget of waking-hours, ADHD-herding energy etc; hopefully other well informed people from this sub can assist with the teaching effort.

Just be sure you actually go there in the form of legit reddit usage; would be wasteful if the teaching opportunities got locked away due to over-zealous mod/admin reactions. Try to avoid leaving room for your comments being misinterpreted as coming from bad faith; try to be helpful, and be as unbiased as you can. And as usual, don't feed the trolls, do not let anyone get a rise out of you; trolls live off making you lose it; keep it cool, and if you can't, wait to post later and go chill doing something else.

Why BTC? I like my money to work, so why a bunch of expensive bits?

    Posted: 09 Mar 2021 09:23 PM PST

A lot of people ask me why BCH or actually told me i'm stupid, but why BTC? it does not work and it has tons of problems, so... yeah i like where i put my money.

Charlie Lee vs Roger Ver: The Bet (BTC maxi trigger warning! 🤣)

I made this little meme-video for fun. Watch it on LBRY.tv or Odysee.
Or if you're a real chad, watch it on the decentralised network: lbry://@MH#5/bitcoincash#9

I also wrote a little article read.cash to go with it.

It's posted as public domain, so feel free to re-upload on Twitter etc. As far as I know, Charlie never posted a video wearing a Bitcoin Cash t-shirt 😂
