    Ripple patents On Demand Liquidity.

Thanks to @xrpartisan for finding this

https://twitter.com/xrpartisan?s=09 He breaks it down pretty well in his tweet thread.

Of course we know odl uses xrp.

The patented tech "is not limited to banking institutions or currencies, but may rather be implemented for any exchange of value (e.g., commodities, other digital currencies and assets, bonds, stocks, securities, etc.)."

Sounds a lot like what mr.wonderful wanted in a currency when he was talking to Anthony pompliano about bitcoin being a "big nothing burger".

Theres a lot of interesting info in the patent. The fact ripple patents this technology for the use of remittances is big news.

    Uphold Exchange Marks Up XRP?

    Uphold Exchange Marks Up XRP?

    Hello All,

Can anyone please explain why it appears Uphold is marking up XRP? On the left hand column we can see the market price at the current time, but when going to make a transaction, they claim to have 0% commission fees yet the coin is marked up. This is making the transaction more expensive than what it appears to be. Why is this? Some exchanges claim to have "fees" associated with trades but they don't seem to disclose this here if that's what it is? I'm just confused...

    Much love.

What costs are associated with attaching a memo to a transaction?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 04:02 AM PST

How many drops have to be paid per byte appended to the memo field?

In the case where there isn't an explicit cost to placing data inside of the memo field, would this cost be shifted to the fee instead? The fact that anyone can store data on the ripple Blockchain at relatively no cost seems too good to be true.

ETH account for Spark airdrop question.

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 10:33 AM PST

Hey, so I set up an ETH account on my Ledger to accept the Spark airdrop, but now I would also like to store my ETH on the same ledger. I tried to create a second ETH account on the ledger, but it told me I couldn't until I had received ETH to the first Spark ETH account. If I send ETH to my Spark ETH account, will that screw anything up for the future Spark airdrop deposits? Can I have ETH in that account and still receive the Spark? Thanks for any help!
