The case for why Litecoin would make a better institutional investment for businesses.

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 06:14 AM PST

Mention Bitcoin to 50 random people these days and you'll most likely get an array of of words back at you.. scam, revolutionary, drugs, innovative, pyramid, what?, power consuming etc etc

This is mainly down to a mash of mainstream and alternative media reports over the years (not bitcoins fault).

Although many of the negative ones are slowly dissipating over time some of these views are still popular.

Elon has recently split mainstream media and shareholder opinion due to this.

    However mention Litecoin?.....

    Exactly!

Over the years Litecoin has pretty much done its job and flown somewhat under the sensationalist media headlines.

From an institutional stand point you get pretty much all the financial and technological benefits of Bitcoin.. without much of the stigma and media circus.

    Perfect for institutional investment.

There are 7.8 Billion people in the world today and only 84 Million LiteCoins

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 09:57 PM PST

I just bought my first litecoin today, and I'm excited for the future of crypto continuing to rise. l believe litecoins value should be trading at-least 1/4 price of whatever BTC is going for, and hopefully that becomes real in the near future. There's not enough for everybody so get em while you can. For now I hold and let's see LiteCoins full potential and hit the moon one day 🚀🚀🚀🚀

    My LTC Story..

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 03:27 PM PST

It was Dec 13 2017, and I got tired of hearing about crypto and decided I would throw 10k in it. I bought BC, Ether, and mostly LTC. I bought LTC for $320.00 that day. The pain was real months and years later. LTC, out of all coins at the time, and still today is my fav coin. (Even after being razor close to cutting bait)

I didn't look at my CB account for 3 years until this last Nov, seen some movement, did some research and said Fk it, and bought more, and still buying dips.

This is LTC's bull market to shine. Will we see a ATH before the big bear comes and we go into hibernation again?

    Thoughts?

Help find where I sent my Litecoin

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 06:23 AM PST

Back in 2017 I bought some litecoin. I bought it from Coinbase and transferred it to LiteWallet, I have the transactions in Coinbase but when I log into my LiteWallet nothing is in there. It's possible but unlikely I sent them somewhere else, is there anyway to find them?

How i accidentally got to think of litecoin, and eventually bought.

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 11:38 AM PST

So I'm pretty new to this crypto thing, as a matter of fact I just bought my first coins (ADA).

I was In Macdonals eating and a random person came up to me and asked me if I used crypto, I said nope, just a few hours ago I bought some. He then asked me to trade a few litecoins for a burger, He didn't have enough and I didn't have that much money, so I ended giving him my French fries. defenitively buy him a hamburger next time.I took this as a message and asked my brother to buy 100 USD of litecoin, now we have 107! (Im not sure how many he bought) hopefully I make some money and will

Are any of you mining LTC?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 09:23 PM PST

I know I won't be quitting my job if I start, but I am a hands-on learner and am interested in how things work in that arena.

I just watched a video on YouTube (by Vosk Coin if you're interested) where he talked about the FutureBit Apollo Miner for LTC (among others) and it looks like the perfect doorway in for someone like me who knows almost less than nothing. But, I thought I'd ask for some input from folks who have gone ahead of me...

Please Help! Someone stole all my ltc and btc!

    Posted: 11 Feb 2021 02:25 AM PST

I've been mining for almost two years and had to move out as I lost my job. I just checked my wallet on coinomi and it looks like someone as emptied it out. I am extremely distraught as this was my only real savings left and I cannot fathom how someone could have gotten ahold of it.

The last transaction that emptied my wallet is https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/bb43a4979e0a80c063a394085f2b73de5a94b206fb4533246fb8187589de9fe5?page=5

my address is the 1E one. I also found my Litecoin on my litewallet is drained too.

I'm mostly wondering how someone could have gotten my keys, I'll admit looking back it wasn't too secure to have my keys backed up in my Contacts in plain text on my iPhone, but how could anyone get in there? My icloud is 2FA and my password on the phone is alphanumeric. My contact list is also extremely large so it would be hard to me to even find it by hand. Can anyone think about what can happen? No one else has access to my phone at all.

Whats your litecoin story? // How did you find litecoin?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 06:05 PM PST

For me, 4 or 5 years ago I saw litecoin on bitcointalk as a coin that should be your go to coin as you cant go wrong with it, perfect for beginners. Came back to the crypto scene and decided, hey, why don't I trust that guys advice and do some research. Did some research and saw big things for ltc

Public Address Starts with a 0

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 03:12 PM PST

It was my understanding that the latest and greatest Segwit addresses start with M since a couple years ago, but my buddy gave me his public wallet address that starts with a 0.

What's the dealio? I thought L- and M- were the only ones we should be using.

    Thanks!
