Running a 3090 and 3060TI on a 850 PSU question Posted: 06 Feb 2021 07:32 AM PST Hey all I've been running a 3090 and a 3060TI combo for myself and it's been running fine. Is there a potential safety issue since it's running really close to its power capacity? [link] [comments]

Are there any compact rig frame kits designed for less than four GPUs? Posted: 05 Feb 2021 11:22 PM PST I know it's hard enough to find stuff as is, but I'm curious if there are any small rig frame kits for just a compact setup, not a big 6-8 card rack. I was looking for something small to put a non-mining board on and that doesn't take up lots of space. Something with room for three or four cards and a 500W PSU? [link] [comments]
Should I buy second hand GPU like 3090? Posted: 06 Feb 2021 08:03 AM PST I can't find good mining gpu in a reasonable price. Should I consider second hand. Does any of you guys has good experience with second hand gpu? [link] [comments]

Can I connect one power cable on 2 GPUs? Posted: 06 Feb 2021 07:39 AM PST Hi, I've 3 PCIe cables(let's A, B, C) with 2x8 pins each that came with PSU. Now I already had a GPU with 3x8 pins and I used 2 cables (where 2x8pin from one cable, A, and 1x8 pin from another cable, B). So I have one pcie cable, C, remaining with 2x8 pin. And other 1x8pin unused from 2nd cable,B. My second gpu also uses 3x8 pins. So can I use the remaining 2x8 pins from cable C and unused 1x8 pins from cable B? (Option 1) Will powering 2 GPU from single cable (B) damage my GPUs? Also I've extra CPU power cable of 8pins. Can I use this CPU cable to power PCIe? (Option 2) My PSU is antec high current pro 1000W Platinum. Sure I can buy another cable, just for this night or few days. [link] [comments]

Gtx 1070 memory overclock doesn't increase eth hashrate Posted: 06 Feb 2021 03:17 AM PST Hi guys! I got 2 gtx 1070, 1 rtx 2060 and 2 rx570. My all cards increases hashrate when increase the memory clock. Except for the gtx 1070. In gtx 1070, only way to increase the hashrate is to increase core clock. Has anyone experienced same thing? Problems with 6800xt under Ubuntu 20.04 Posted: 06 Feb 2021 02:48 AM PST Anyone get the amdgpu-pro driver to install under Ubuntu 20.04 and work with a 6800? I've found with kernel 5.4.0-54 and the latest driver (amdgpu-pro-20.45) it will install if I use the card is then visible in clinfo. When i crank up Phoenix miner it can see the new GPU (alongside the 2 old RX580s) but fails to allocate a DAG and eventually fails. There is also this error in clinfo: I also tried with kernel 5.10.13 but couldn't get amdgpu-install to complete. Any ideas? [link] [comments]

Can I ask for help in this subreddit? Posted: 06 Feb 2021 01:18 AM PST Hello everyone, I recently started crpyto trading and started earning money and decided that I can maybe also earn money through mining and since I have an AMD 5600XT gpu I thought maybe I should look into it however, I really am a noob when it comes to mining with gpus. Are there any start-up guides or anything like that here? [link] [comments]
How to bypass Amazon’s purchasing limits without getting banned? Posted: 06 Feb 2021 06:34 AM PST Hello there guys! Recently I started a Mining business and I've been buying a lots of GPU's on Amazon. I got a "You had exceed our buying limits on this item" when trying to buy a specific GPU I have bought more than 2 times already. Any tips on how to bypass the limit (I want to buy more) and also avoid getting potentially banned? I was thinking of creating a second account with a friends address and possibly another debit/credit card. What do you guys think? Any tips? [link] [comments]

What is the best software to use 2021 for selling hashpower? Posted: 06 Feb 2021 03:13 AM PST So I'm kinda new to GPU "mining" or selling hash power online. Whatever floats your boat. But I tried Nicehash at first, good UI, and so on. I know of the scandal when they got hacked, not the best pr. Then I tried Kryptex, not as good UI but I LOVE the fact that I can withdraw Euro direct to my bank account rather than withdrawing my bitcoins than selling them. My question is this, what is the best software as of 2021 do you guys think for selling hash power? I like building rigs, it's nice =) [link] [comments]

Any possibility of mining with a 5700 via an eGPU on macOS? Posted: 05 Feb 2021 09:31 PM PST I want to start mining with my laptop. I want to leave it on whenever I'm not using my eGPU. The big advantage of this would be that I don't need to get a motherboard and extra RAM just to set up my mining rig. Is this possible? [link] [comments]
Need 6-pin to 6-pin male-male connections; where to buy?! Posted: 05 Feb 2021 02:53 PM PST The PSU in question is a EVGA G+ 1000w . They didn't have but 1 6-pin to molex in the box and 0 6-pin to 6-pin.. but it has 6x 6pin connections and I want cables that go from there to my 6-pin risers. However, I'm having a really hard time finding such a thing. I've found a cable that came with a server PSU + breakout border that is 6 to 6, but it does not work with this PSU and I think is only 4-2 but with faux wires? [link] [comments]
