Bitcoin Cash is Overtaking Bitcoin - The Hidden Truth Posted: 01 Feb 2021 03:38 PM PST

Posted: 01 Feb 2021 10:42 AM PST The fake always comes first and is not recognised as fake till the real shows up and exposes it. Let's have a look at the top 10 shall we. Bitcoin --> not enough utility to justify it's value, only has the network effect which might run out. Ethereum --> 100% legit. Will take over the entire planet, no doubt whatsoever. Tether --> Won't last forever. XRP --> Not even a cryptocurrency, was created before Bitcoin even and uses none of Bitcoin's innovations. Without Bitcoin XRP would have died a long time ago. DOT --> slightly modified clone of ethereum, still has to prove that it's better then Ethereum but even then Ethereum has the network effect. ADA --> Apparently not Daniel Larimer his work but Charles Hoskinson, and still scammy. LINK --> Kind of legit, but not essential. Link competitors will emerge. Link oracles are complex slow and expensive. Also the relationship between the tech and the token is not really there. The token is not needed for the oracle technology. Ethereum could natively integrate LINK it's technology and LINK will become 100% useless. LTC --> Clone of Bitcoin that refuses to scale just like Bitcoin. BNB. --> Mainly traded on Binance which means if Binance wanted it this one could go to 100 000 USD tomorrow. Binance is shady as fuck, it won't last. So the conclusion is this: We got Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum and some legit Ethereum competitors like DOT. Is there any proof of work coin that can be considered a competitor to BCH? Only BSV and BCHA are. BSV is controlled by bad actors, it would have to get rescued by non bad actor first. Unlikely to happen. BCHA has to rebuild everything, it will need 5 years just to get where BCH is today. We wish em luck but we will need 3 years just to know if there is even going be a threat of them becoming a competitor. They are lead by a notorious sucky leader who does not understand how to play politics with a high change for forking further down the road when the leader has yet again pissed of enough people. So BCH does not pump right now. So what. Get more coins when you can. Keep em safe. Wait. Use BCH as money. Be happy it's staying above 400 and not crashing to 50. This is a marathon. Have faith in the fact that speculative bubbles are self destructive by their very nature. Crypto is still 99% speculation and 1% "hey it actually does something useful no other tool can do" It's slowly changing, which will kill the speculation. But we might have another 10 - 20 years of speculation first before we even get to 5% utility and 95% speculation. Speculation does not take any hard work, so it simply moves faster and more aggressive. Changing the world is hard work and to much of a hassle, most people just want to have a quick rich scheme instead. Let them scheme, they have never lasted and they never will. Keep the faith, keep using BCH as money, keep using BCH as a hedge against inflation. Price goes down, buy the dip. Price goes up, take a bit of profit. And be patient. There is still at least 10 years or early adoption phase ahead of us. [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Feb 2021 02:57 PM PST There have been a few instances of chaintip not forwarding tips recently that have been brought to my attention. I've restarted the server and started all the services again. Hopefully it starts working ok again (I don't have time right now to test). For the stuck tips, I plan to audit all chaintip tips very soon. It's possible this has happened before without people realising. The balance on the chaintip server suggests this may be the case. Some of this balance may be current tips waiting to be claimed, but some may not. When I do the audit, I will either, send the tips forward to the tippees if it's before the 7 day period, or back to the tippers if it's after the 7 day period for all the stuck tips if there turn out to be more (I'm guessing there will). So, feel free to continue to use chaintip for the moment until I look into what's causing the issue. Also, please let me know if your tip doesn't get forwarded. If you trust me ;), it should be risk free as either your tippee or you will get the tip back if it gets stuck. If you don't trust me, don't use chaintip until I sort this out and it's working close to 100% again. [link] [comments]
Bitcoin Cash needs more Advertising! Posted: 01 Feb 2021 05:42 PM PST Advertising is a means of communication with the users of a product or service. This is an aspect that i believe is lacking for #BitcoinCash at the moment. Advertisements are intended to inform and educate people about a product/service available to them. We have the technology user ready for some real adoption by merchants and users to start gaining traction but if we keep this gem a secret then it will only stunt the growth. A simple and free means of advertising I am going to suggest is that we all begin using #BitcoinCash and talk about all our favourite features available today and coming soon on Bitcoin Cash! I will be doing this on Twitter and I hope to see all of you there as well lending your support. In the meantime let's talk about some other ways we can get the word out about what Bitcoin Cash is and what it offers the average Joe! [link] [comments]

Point me in the right direction - have old BCH wallets with a little bit - pre BCH fork(s) Posted: 02 Feb 2021 12:35 AM PST I have a few BCH wallets that are old (was using Electron Cash 3.2 circa 2018). I do not keep up with stuff, but I've read that BCH has forked, what twice now? The last time I managed to split coins was the BTC/BCH split.
Thanks for your help. [link] [comments]
There May be an EPIC PUMP incoming within 12mths Posted: 02 Feb 2021 01:42 AM PST I bought crypto back in 2017. Good times! I told everyone on the way up! Then felt like a complete idiot on the way down. Got burnt bad in alts. However, I'm still here and I love the smell of rocket fuel in the morning 🚀 I do feel that an EPIC pump may be coming to BCH in the next 12 mths. Please do keep in mind that my trackrecord in this space i complete shit 😀 Here are my amateur thoughts. Transaction fees are > 15 dollars in BTC and ETH. Both trading near ATH. Who wants to spend that to send some internet money? Capital WILL flow elsewhere. XRP is dead following SEC. I see some polka things out there but also remeber NEO, IOTA, TRON, LISK and they are all gone. Very few coins make it in the top 10 for a long period of time. That leaves BCH and LTC. I see potential in both but no other coin has the same CLAIM as BCH to fix the BTC fee problem. Also, the price action in BCH has been shit for the last couple of years which makes for a PUMP. There are some promises about sharding and lightning out there but I have been reading about that since 2017 and it is still not here and working. People WILL ask themselves why they pay > 15 dollars in fees. They will also start to wonder whats more likely... BTC going to 300k or BCH to 4k. The former may happen in 5 years while the latter may happen in 5 days. There is alot of bad will towards bch from the btc community but I dont think that will matter. Once we se better price action in bch people will jump in. The logical thing would be to sell BTC and buy BCH from here. I think more will come to that conclusion. Disclaimer: eventough I think that there may be an EPIC PUMP incoming I also know that the market for alts may crash 90% just as in 2018 so be careful guys! [link] [comments]
Prove Me Wrong: XRP IS GARBAGE Posted: 01 Feb 2021 04:39 PM PST I've never been a fan of them. Seen a lot of people promoting the pump and dump this weekend and I didn't fall for it. Why do coins like this even exist other than pump and dumps? Didn't we prove it be a failed coin backed by banks? Tbh I get frustrated seeing people pump this coin. I'd rather back doge than XRP.. Edit: this all started because I saw XRP get pump and dumped AGAIN FOR THE 60th time SINCE 2017. XRP is all a bunch of bag holders & pump and dumps. Not a real coin! [link] [comments]
