What does BCH do better than other cryptocurrencies?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 07:38 PM PST

There was a recent post on r/CryptoCurrency titled "For the newcomers: the top 50 Cryptocurrencies, each explained with one sentence." The description for BCH was:

fork of Bitcoin (so a copy with some differences), which tries to lower transaction fees and increase scalability but has been surpassed technology-wise by many other coins aiming to do just the same.

I know some of the descriptions were tongue-in-cheek (e.g. Monero was described as "if you need drugs"), but the description of BCH seemed pretty negative compared to the others.

So, where does BCH outshine other cryptocurrencies?

What can i do if the BTC transfer still Unconfirmed after 2 days?

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 11:32 PM PST

    Hi Everyone.

i made a transfer from a nano to an exchange and somehow it still unconfirmed after 2 days.

do you think i should pay for an accelerator or just wait?

cost is 100$ for accelerator! and honestly the transfer amount doesn't not justify this amount.

or wait and if so , how many days do you think i should wait?

Today I have almost 3K USD of BCH and SLP volume flow through my own wallet and personally been responsible for about 200 tx.

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 02:03 PM PST

Last year in total I have seen about 500 000 USD in volume flow through my own wallets. This year that will easily become 5 000 000 USD.

I AM the bank now. A schitzo nerd with a laptop (hot wallet), a offline computer (cold wallet), a fireproof small vault with backups seeds and a phone.

What is currently going on with Spice SLP Token?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 01:36 AM PST

I looked at my bitcoin.com wallet's token section for the first time in a while and saw the estimated fiat value of SPICE at nearly .004 USD. I first assumed it was some kind of mistake, but then saw it trading on coinex at apprx 78,000 satoshi each. The fiat increase doesn't seem to be just an artifact of the rise in BCH price either, as the the token appears to have steadily increased (priced in satoshi) for the last few months.

I haven't seen non-stablecoin SLP tokens discussed at all here in what feels like a long time. Who's buying it and why?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 12:13 AM PST

Which am I supposed to be buying!? I'm confused af, BTC looks like it's doing much better than BCH in my analysis (which doesn't very deep because I hardly know what the hell I'm looking at when it comes to CRYPTOcurrencies). But all I see anyone posting about is BCH. So what in the world am I supposed to be doing? Please do not use Stocky jargon as I am a laymen and will not understand anything LOL.

Bitcoin Cash for merchants in Africa: low fees & fast transactions will be a gimmick in business

Bitcoin Cash is unique from other cryptocurrencies based on my observations

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 04:14 AM PST

    Here are my observations:

    1. Bitcoin Cash is going for large blocks
    2. Bitcoin Cash has six full nodes and all of its developers have plans to push all six nodes for multi-usage
    3. Bitcoin Cash has the same atmosphere as the media claims and old videos back in 2012
    4. Bitcoin Cash is super easy to use because of its growing community of applications, improving upon things like Bitcoin and Ethereum's, but not that far yet
    5. Price is low enough to get new people in
    6. There are sites that pay without gambling or faucets (memo.cash, member.cash, read.cash, noise.cash, lazyfox.io)
    7. It has enough hate that it just has proof of its claims because we keep trying to explain things to the haters, trolls, and maxis
    8. Its users keep developing new things post-Bitcoin ABC
    9. Actual tangible and visible development on many things, from AnyHedge to Mainnet to BCHN to even as simple as the advertisements

And the thing is? Nobody has actually heard of six full reference nodes in one blockchain. It's kinda weird.

    EDIT: Here comes the haters.

I wonder if Peter Schiff would be a fan of Bitcoin Cash

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 05:41 PM PST

I'm a huge fan of Peter Schiff. He's a brilliant economist of the Austrian tradition, and has been a caller of bubbles and market movements since I was a child, and I'm 30 years old today.

He always focuses on central bank movements, the true players in the macroeconomy.

He has my utmost respect. The only thing we disagree on is crypto and, based on his podcasts, he seems to be unaware of BCH Bitcoin Cash.

I know it's a bit of a conflict of interest with regards to his business ventures, but I would be incredibly interested to hear his candid response, if he were willing to hear out the case for Bitcoin Cash.

After you downvote, take note that the gentleman is a brilliant forecaster, and as much flak he catches from the crypto community, I assure you he's vastly more aware of macro and micro interactions than you and me.

He continues to see crypto as a fringe market, and I wonder if someone influential in the Austrian space might be able to reach him and change his mind.
