| Posted: 31 Jan 2021 03:52 PM PST It may have been in the early days. Right now almost all us exchanges have halted trading. Volume is off the absolute charts globally. This is a very bad look for the sec. Now you have to remember when you put a case in. You are going for the slam dunk. The sec case was handed down on jay claytons last day. Then handed to the next administration after 8 years. The optics on this are TERRIBLE. I'm expecting the case to be dropped or settlement talks to have already begun. The ripple case isn't a slam dunk and the whole world is watching Melvin capital and robinhood break the rules. The whole world is watching the sec. resources in gov are finite. "... against the SEC's allegations, which claim the San Francisco-based firm violated U.S. securities laws for over seven years by selling $1.3 billion worth of XRP tokens." - from Yahoo Finance First, Several big whales have been taken out of the market, and they are: Ripple Labs, Brad & Chris. One of the allegations of the SEC lawsuit is that XRP was sold violating security laws. Do you really think, in the middle of a major lawsuit, they would sell even one XRP???? I didn't think so. Second, all of the weak hands have already sold. After the SEC lawsuit was first filed, anybody and everybody who was scared, sold their XRP. What does this mean? No more sellers. The sky is the limit!!! Third, with the current price skyrocketing from basically $.30 to almost $.60, all of the shorts right now are running for the exit! With that happening, it only adds to all of the buying pressure on XRP! Fourth, the buying will continue for a very long time. Many people in the US are frustrated that the two or three brokerages that we can still buy XRP on will crash tomorrow because of the volume of buying. However, they still will be buying all over the world And the US buying will be spread out over a longer period of time because only a few will be able to get on their account to purchase at the beginning. This will mean the Buying will go on for a much longer time period. This is a good thing! And lastly, this is a community project where a coordinated effort is in place. At 7:30am central standard time on Monday, hundreds of thousands of people are going to be buying XRP. Yes for you skeptics out there, there will be two or three people selling into this massive buying blitz and to what effect? Nothing, nothing at all. Posted: 31 Jan 2021 06:41 PM PST Disclaimer: I hold XRP, this is no FUD, if you can not or do not want to discuss a hot topic then please stop reading, if you are down voting this then please don't be a d1ck and tell me in the comments why. If I remember correctly Ripple released every quarter a report in the following month. So we should have had one at the end of last month. As far as I know it is normal if someone is involved in a court case then they tend to not speak about the matter. So I would assume that this is the reason there is no 4th 2020 report. I opened it up sent 22 to my new account on coinspot and once I receive it I sent over 9,117. The transaction said it was a success and validated but my wallet still doesnt have the amount and its been about half an hour or so. Is there anything I can do? | Can't Restore Toast Wallet Backup on Their Site? Posted: 31 Jan 2021 01:45 PM PST Hello, I've been out of the game for a while and noticed that XRP is starting to go back up again and was hoping to cash out soon at my break even price since I bought when it was high. I used Toast Wallet back in early 2018 but now see that the desktop product is defunct, and I don't have the original installation since I've changed computers. I do have a copy of the passphrase and a few snapshots of the wallet backup text (has stuff like pindata, ppdata, accounts, salt, etc.), but when I went to their website (https://toastwallet.github.io/browser/) and tried a restore it tells me "Invalid backup. Check that you copied the whole text." It might be possible that I added more funds to my wallet after the last backup that I did, if so, does this mean these past snapshots of my wallet are no longer valid and I've basically lost all of my funds forever?
