Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:28 AM PST I have built sites for years but this is the first time I'd like to accept BCH without a 3rd party. The functionality I'd like to have is:
I've been reading about RPC commands and a few options but would love an as simple as possible tutorial to get this working. Thanks all! [link] [comments]
Why have the Bitcoin Talk forums gone to shit? How did that happen? Posted: 05 Dec 2020 12:01 PM PST I was on those BTC forums years ago, as a reader but not an avid poster. I visited again for the first time in years. It used to be filled with wide-eyed people that wanted to change the world in a way before all the regulation hit, with at least somewhat interesting economic discussion. The entire market sub-forum is illegal, except for one or two. Hacked server credentials, "cheap server for mining!!" VMs purchased via stolen credit cards and resold for spam, attacks, and crypto mining until they get shut down for abuse or chargeback, cracked software for money (betting there's a 50/50 chance you get keys from a stolen cc or some keygen telling you the software needs a patch to work). The usual "buy likes and followers on social media" crap again with obvious bot followers. Feels like the mods just gave up on the idea altogether (not sure how), and that area of the forums especially reeks of any forum that once had a decent amount of popularity, but then gets abandoned, allowing the vulture-bots to feed on its carcass. Reddit seems to be one of the few bastions left for good crypto forum-style discussion, though I'm not sure if it's just everywhere that most people would rather just talk about selling shovels to chumps than the future of the technology and the network. How to buy some Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash/ETH using PayPal and credit card Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:05 PM PST It is usually troublesome to purchase digital currency directly using PayPal or a credit card. The good news is that PayPal will soon support Bitcoin purchases. But how to deal with bitcoin transfers is a problem. [link] [comments]

Spice token project's growth and expansion: A push for BCH adoption Posted: 05 Dec 2020 06:53 AM PST Spicebot is bringing in 20 to 30 new Telegram users daily to BCH through SPICE SLP token. We can scale that up if we get enough support in our flipstarter.spice.cash crowdfunding campaign. This is one way we can support and push BCH adoption. [link] [comments]

How does "coffee payment" work? Posted: 05 Dec 2020 10:44 AM PST And how long until irreversible? Does it work with 0 confirmations? I understand bitcoin cash has very low fees, I get that part of it, but what about speed? I mean a coffee payment has to be a few seconds, Is it simply a 0 conf. transaction and the there's no usable software to double spend, so it's not a problem in practice? [link] [comments] |
