CBDC's on the XRPL - Ripple job application

Good morning fellow holders,

In all my excitement of yesterday's bullrun, I forgot to share this wonderful job application (posted last friday) with all of you: Sr. Director, Central Bank engagements

"Ripple is looking for a proven leader to lead our strategy, partnerships and project work with central banks around the world with an initial focus on supporting their central bank digital currency (CBDC) initiatives on XRP Ledger. In this role, you will define and lead Ripple's strategy with central banks, build relationships with and educate central bankers around the world, and secure and manage partnerships with central banks to build and deploy projects."

I don't want to speculate too much, but I don't believe that such a job posting would be put online if there wasn't significant interest from central banks in hosting their CBDC's on the XRP Ledger.

This is what you get when you work with massive institutions, which Ripple has been doing tirelessly for years. This is why I believe in Ripple and their strategy. Fuck the FUD!

Non-FUD: Anyone else expecting a bit of a sell-off after the ledger snapshot for Spark?

I feel a part of the current current boom is due to the upcoming snapshot on Dec 12. I understand the entire market is up and everything followed btc, but xrp has been topping the gains lately and I think this may be one of the reasons why. Folks that just made good gains in btc (or otherwise) may be putting funds in xrp temporarily to (a) ride the bull cycle upwards to the snapshot and current positive trend, and (b) sell off immediately after the snapshot to realize gains, expecting others may do the same, creating a sort of feedback loop when others see it dipping the loose hands will sell, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in the longtime value in xrp and the upward trend/bull cycle may continue, I am just expecting a bit of a downward trend (if only temporarily) after the snapshot.

I know only a small portion of people have their wallets signed on the ledger for the Spark drop, but after the snapshot they still have 6 months to do this - so it may be an irrelevant indicator.

What are your thoughts?
