NEED HELP PLS! Posted: 16 Nov 2020 09:07 AM PST Hello, I am new to this whole litcoin thing but I HAVE A PROBLEM! I recently downloaded Litecoin Core for my desktop. After downloading it and letting the headers sync, my brother sent me about 9 litecoins. I had received them and they were in my account under "total" when I decided to encrypt my wallet. I typed in a password (not 10 words although it worked) and closed the application. (keep in mind, I never backed up the wallet). Now, 2 days later, I go to open up Litecoin Core to check that it, and it needs to re-sync the headers. After letting it re-sync, MY COINS ARE GONE. my account says 0.00 with no transaction history.
