Are there any eWASM implementations I can test? Posted: 16 Nov 2020 05:41 AM PST Hi, I'm looking to test smart contract execution times on an eWASM node. Are there any eWASM implementations that I can test smart contract execution times on? [link] [comments]

Articles on ETH Token economics? Posted: 16 Nov 2020 06:51 AM PST Hello fellow Ethereans, I'm trying to dive deeper into ETH (the asset) and learn about ETH's token economics. I understand Gwei and energy consumption in the block space, but I still don't fully grasp the concept. I tried looking for articles/essays but many are a bit out dated. Does anyone know of any articles that I can read to understand ETH's token economics? I want to learn why ETH is integral to the Ethereum ecosystem (aside from basic deposit collateral/security). Getting started as a dev: ganache question Posted: 16 Nov 2020 04:47 AM PST I'm following this tutorial https://ethereumdev.io/calling-a-smart-contract-from-javascript and at the first thing is call ganache-cli with the -f flag with a link to infura node (I have an account etc, pretty sure I'm doing that part right) but also with the --unlock flag with an ethereum address. Now here's what I'm stuck on: it must be an address from ganache, but those addresses are from a testing instance of the blockchain, so how can I truly interact with the real blockchain by doing this? I'm basically asking for a better explanation of this ganache-cli command, what is really going on and how can I call real smart contract functions by using this method? PS sorry but I tried to post this on r/ethdev but I was not able to, maybe not enough karma or something. [link] [comments]
