I wrote a complete how-to guide to stake Ethereum and now I'm looking for your feedback Posted: 05 Nov 2020 01:58 PM PST Hi all! It took almost two weeks of research, fiddling, writing and reviewing but my complete guide to staking on Ethereum is now ready. I tried to be as thorough as possible, targeting enthusiasts who my not be into Linux or Ethereum yet but still want to try this. My guide is here: Come fare staking con Ethereum 2.0 (English autotranslation here: Staking Ethereum how to ). I've done the whole procedure multiple times on Medalla, but I won't be able to do it on mainnet because I don't own the 32 ETH needed, and I don't have even remotely the spare fiat to get them. Now I'm looking for your feedback: do you spot any error? Is something unclear? Can something be done in an easier way? For the reason above, I'm very much interested in the mainnet option, which I cannot test on my own. Let me know, thanks! [link] [comments]

How do I get ETH out of my 2.0 validator... Posted: 05 Nov 2020 10:28 AM PST Somewhat technically challenged person here... I plan to run a full node for ETH 2.0. I hope to run a few validators, but what if I want to get my ETH out to use elsewhere? Am I able to do that easily, or is it stuck in the 2.0 contract? Thanks! [link] [comments]

DO NOT deposit to the deposit contract unless you know what you have to do after! Posted: 05 Nov 2020 02:16 AM PST There seems to be some people that are way too eager to deposit their funds into the deposit contract. You do not just deposit eth into the contract then earn eth automatically, there is some work you have to do after and you will lose eth if you don't do it. If you didn't know about the contract until yesterday or you aren't 100% sure what it entails you should wait. The contract won't go anywhere, do some research until you have a solid grasp of what it means to be an eth 2.0 validator and how to do it. If you don't want to be a validator you don't have to do anything, just do what you have been doing whether that's defi, trading, or hodling. Nothing has changed for you. [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Nov 2020 05:42 AM PST Tried googling this but y'all are the experts. Does 2.0 cap the supply? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
