The publicmodlogs user got suspended very temporarily during election night, likely for account security reasons. It was brought back as soon as it was seen by the account holder and admins within 24 hours.

During that short suspension, the mod of their subreddit then goes on a tirade about freedom. This sort of conspiracy minded focus is damaging the general appearance of crypto currency. Luckily not much stops a freight train and crypto isn't going to stop gaining momentum. It sure would help if community thought leaders weren't slamming the breaks on the whole time engineers are trying to push forward. This conspiracy minded thinking is largely ignored in other large subreddits by the community leaders, but /r/BTC and other bitcoincash communities seem to wallow in it.

Mind the part about their mod list being hidden. That's apparently a reddit feature when you're banned I learned. The point is, he's acting like going chicken little and declaring the sky is falling, is informing people. Even after I provided evidence of what this likely was, he allowed the thread to exist with misinformation being spread. The community needs stronger leaders who aren't so anxiety riddled and are willing to listen to reason.

I'd be in their correcting the conspiracy theories with reason and evidence, but that's the behavior which got me banned from the subreddit in the first place.
