Anyone know how i can make a hidden ethereum miner visible? Posted: 26 Oct 2020 08:14 AM PDT I've been mining ethereum for razer and getting razer silver points for a while now. I can see on task manager that it uses ethminer.exe to mine. SOmetimes it stops mining and idk why. I wanna make it visible so I can see if there are any errors i can fix. Multi-Algo Mining Posted: 25 Oct 2020 10:33 AM PDT What are your thoughts on multi-algo mining? We just released an update of our coin that removes x16rt mining and replaces it with a system splits the mining into Sha256d, ProgPow and RandomX. The difficulty adjustments are designed to leave 50% of the blocks for Proof of Stake, and 50% of the blocks for Proof of Work; targeting 70% ProgPow for the GPU crowd, 20% RandomX for the CPU miners, and leaving the remaining 10% for the asic miners on Sha256d. Just interested in hearing thoughts of this sort of system by those focused on mining [since as a core developer, I don't have a focused view on just the mining community. Ive got all hardware, what software do I need? Posted: 25 Oct 2020 12:57 PM PDT Okay so I went ahead and got 8x rx5700 and will be receiving my ordered wares the coming week. I'm not really up to date on how I set up the OS/ software side of things. I've heard about HiveOs and seen that many use Windows.
