What mining software have I missed? Posted: 03 Sep 2020 04:30 AM PDT For those that dont know, I wrote Mining-Scheduler I have tested it with the following miners.
I am working on a node exporter for it that will allow you to create custom dashboards in Prometheus/Grafana and am wondering if I missed any miners. So, what miners am I missing? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Sep 2020 08:46 AM PDT I made this spreadsheet for deciding what to build out my farm with. Some will say results will vary, but this is what I have measured FROM THE WALL. By far the most efficient is A10 but a very close second is the 5600 xt. The cheapest MH/$ is still an RX 470-8gb. Hopes this helps. PS: Don't buy Gigabyte 5700 xt They have security checks that currently do not allow them to be modded. Reports of the Same thing on Strix models but i haven't confirmed. [link] [comments]
Power draw official numbers / consensus : Molex vs SATA vs 6 pin vs 8-pin for PCIe riser Posted: 03 Sep 2020 08:44 AM PDT I know i't been covered a lot. But I would like a resume. ;)

Are Home-Mining rigs still profitable? Posted: 03 Sep 2020 03:00 AM PDT Sup gang. My electricity is free (included in rent) was thinking of buying an asic miner or constructing a small rig to mine? Is this still profitable? (Please dont link me to whattomine) I recently started mining through nichehash on my gaming pc which has a 1070 and an i5 but wondering if its better to have a separate machine? Also are there significant wear and tear to GPU/CPU i should be worried of? Thanks in advance! CC [link] [comments]
Help, how can I compute my tpd? Posted: 02 Sep 2020 11:32 AM PDT What up miners, I'm new to mining and I can't find a clear answer on any psu calculators. I do have a new 1300 G2, is that enough? Intel 3930 Biostar TB250-BTC+ 8gb ram 8x rx 5700 240gb hdd 8x120mm fan Ps I also have more questions, should I make separate posts for them or just add them here? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Help!!! I need drivers for the nvidia gp 106-090 mining card Posted: 02 Sep 2020 09:37 AM PDT Hi everyone, I have recently got a zotac gp106-090. I installed it on my pc and windows doesn't detect it. So I have installed the nvidia drivers, but when I install these drivers, windows just blue screens with the error of "nvlddmkm.sys". I try to reboot but nothing, it keeps blue screen. So for getting windows working I need to remove the nvidia card and perform ddu. So guys, do you have a working driver for this mining card? Added a rx 570 4gb as 2nd gpu to my gaming pc but it’s only getting ~2 mh/s Posted: 02 Sep 2020 09:27 AM PDT Specs: Mobo: MSI b450 tomahawk CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 PSU: cooler master v850 gold Main GPU: gigabyte rx 5700 xt I bought a used Sapphire Nitro+ rx 570 4gb for my gaming pc, but when I try to mine with it it only gives me 2,4 mh/s. Do I need to change something in windows or maybe even my start.bat file? Or do I just have a broken card? And I don't know if this is normal but the cards look like they're switched around? My main gpu which is normally gpu0 is now gpu1 I tried both Claymore and Phoenixminer, claymore does get a bit higher but it's still way too low. Phoenixminer's auto-tune also doesn't work and just times out after a while without changing the hashrate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
