Posted: 16 Sep 2020 03:24 PM PDT One of my good friends is repaying an old favor by giving me his two 2080 supers, as he is upgrading to the 30 series. I was wondering what would be a good rig to build (somewhat cheap) to run these two cards to mine with. Should I just set it up in a normal PC case? Power cost will also not be an issue since I will be able to run it completely on solar. [link] [comments] | ||
Can I add one more card to my rig without another power supply? Posted: 16 Sep 2020 09:53 AM PDT I have an EVGA 1300 G2. I have 7 RX 580 8GB. Total power draw from the wall is 1140 watt. My mobo and frame supports one more gpu and space for another psu. I'm thinking of buying one more rx 580 or 5700xt. Currently each gpu consumes 140 watt. And gives each 30.3 MH/s. Can I add another gpu which would bring total power from wall 1280(each rx 580 takes 140 watt) on a 1300 watt power supply or I need another small one. I researched that the power supplies only 87% of the power from wall because mine is 80+ gold. So do I need another psu? [link] [comments] |
