What can we expect a TX fee to be on ETH 2.0?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:33 AM PDT

Gas fees have slowed down, but still not practical for mainstream adoption ($2.00+ fee for a simple TX)

What can we expect to see when 2.0 rolls out as far as TX cost?

    Thanks in advance!

The legality of unregistered, unlicensed lending? Legality of stablecoins?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 08:46 AM PDT

With all this defi hype, I don't see very many people questioning the legality of some of these functions. In most countries, lending is allowed because two willing participants agree to a written contract. A contract is essentially a group of people privatizing a set of laws that take precedent over public law. "Smart contracts" are not legal contracts. A legal contract must have actual print and a signature of all participants acknowledging the terms of the agreement. Just because you have software executing a code, that doesn't make it a legal contract.

There's a real fundamental problem with stablecoins: any system that effectively allows decentralized peer-to-peer transmission of money is going to fail one or more anti-money-laundering laws. Stablecoins are fundamentally illegal operations under US law. With bitcoin, you can squish around and call it a commodity instead of money. But stable coins are being marketed as 1:1 equivalent to USD, which is money.

    Please help me!

Hello everyone, first time trying to mine something and i was wondering which currency is best to mine with my gaming pc?

You can see my computer spec here: https://asset.msi.com/pdf/main/us/desktop/Infinite%20X%20Plus%209SE-272US.pdf?

Right now i tryed to mine Ethereum for like 2 hours in ethermine pool but i was kinda sad seeing my stats that i could earn like 0.80 cents per day. So i started to google and found out about site below that shows that its more profitable to mine Monero.

    https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr?HashingPower=40&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=1200&CostPerkWh=0.6&MiningPoolFee=1

Could anyone tell me if it better to mine Ethereum on my RTX 2080 or Monero on my i7-9700k?

And maybe my rig is strong enought to mine solo any of tho's currency and i don't have to join public pools?

    Sorry for my bad English.

Haven't been following lately, but why are tx fees so high?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 07:03 AM PDT

I thought ETH 2.0 and PoS was supposed to improve things, but I just had to pay several dollars for a single tx. Ethereum network is practically useless now.

What's the deal? What's going on?

Where can I get help with this F'd wallet?

    Posted: 11 Sep 2020 09:20 PM PDT

I made a transaction with too little gas. I sent TOMO with ledger live to Kucoin. That transaction failed and every time I've tried to send TOMO it hasn't worked. Is there any body out there that could help? I've tried a few things but ledger live wouldn't let me send a transaction with the same nonce.....maybe I'd give somebody $10 to help me fix it 0xA0f26e828291A8d45E833927954DAA2EBd68Ac72

How much does it cost to deploy a smart contract to mainnet now?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:47 AM PDT

Given the high transaction costs, how much does it cost to deploy a smart contract to mainnet now?

I would be grateful if you share your experience or observations. Thank you!
