Posted: 15 Sep 2020 11:00 AM PDT Thieves: https://np.reddit.com/r/Bitstamp/comments/dswv2n/give_bitstamp_users_their_bitcoin_sv_tokens/ EDIT: I should add that other than this theft, that I think that Bitstamp is actually quite a great exchange. [link] [comments]
3 Days Remaining for an alternative Full Node implementation written in JavaScript Posted: 15 Sep 2020 06:17 PM PDT First and foremost I' want to give a huge thanks to all of the people who have been influential in helping, guiding me in the process of getting this flipstarter initiative going. The original post / thread I've made last week received some great feedback in response to the campaign I've opened . What's changed since then is that I'm now about 29 BCH away which is about (27%) left to complete the targeted goal set out for the campaign / project. I'm quite optimistic, & happy about it. Since I'll be able to continue working full time on the project without having to go through trouble for remainder of the year into the next. Below is the flipstarter link that goes into detail on the project if you haven't already seen it before: http://flipstarter.cashfullnode.com/ I'm not all that savvy / experienced with reddit; so like the idiot that I am I made a mistake modifying the body of the previous post that I made and ended up deleting the thread on accident. The original comments of that previous thread I mentioned can be found at: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/in4anj/flipstarter_campaign_opened_for_an_alternative/ Due to the relationship between the project being a fork of bcoin, the name bc@sh suited the project perfectly. I've realized that the buzz-word kept triggering a bot that marked every reply mentioning the word / name of the project as spam. If anyone wants to get some more background on the project, myself I've listed a few below feel free to take a look: https://news.bitcoin.com/meet-the-developer-who-added-schnorr-signatures-to-bcash/ https://news.bitcoin.com/purse-io-adds-native-bch-support-and-launches-bcash/ [link] [comments]
With the new min karma rule, this place feels so much better already :) Posted: 15 Sep 2020 01:10 PM PDT For the first time in years I'm reading /r/btc threads and not able to see 7 collapsed comments per thread from our regular trolls like /u/vegarde /u/ssvb1 /u/bit_igu etc. I'm scrolling reading actual constructive content for once and not seeing trolls spread misinformation in every top level comment. I'm able to focus on actual debates using logic, not half truths and the same parroted troll scripts. Me right now I'm sure some trolls will try to come back but knowing they'll have to farm karma outside of /r/btc just to be able to post here makes it an extra win. No more low effort trolls. I'm surprised we put up with their bullshit for so long. [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Sep 2020 09:36 AM PDT Imagine a future where so many people are using CashFusion that there is plenty of liquidity for any tier and CashFusion rounds are happening on a near-constant basis. I'm guessing my idea would require some updates to the CashFusion protocol, but could wallets eventually add a feature that combines CashFusion with the send function? That way, any spending in a shop or online or wherever would be through a CashFusion transaction, thus obfuscating the origin of the particular output that was used in the transaction. Again, this would basically require constant rounds of CashFusion for it to be feasible for in-person payments, but it's an interesting possibility. Thoughts? [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Sep 2020 12:33 PM PDT Hey so I am a little new here but I just found out my mom placed 11k into a website called https://investcrypto.cryptofinancetrade.com . She says it has grown to 44k but she cannot get anything out because she is "extended" and needs to deposit 2k more in order to be allowed access to her funds. Now I think this is a complete scam and I was wondering what I can do in order to both stop them from scamming other people as well as to possibly get any money out that I possibly can. Also I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this particular website before. I am sorry if this breaks any rules I am just trying my best to cover all of my bases and get as much information as possible. I appreciate any help! If this is the wrong subreddit for this that is cool I would appreciate a point in the right direction like I said before I do not have much knowledge of any of this and am working on getting everything figured out right now. I have set up my first electron wallet and checked the hashes I am just waiting on the account information from my mom to try to pull it out myself since she doesn't do the best with computers. Fingers crossed she misunderstood something but my brother said he already tried contacting the company and they said she was "extended" and wasn't allowed access to anything till she fixed it.
