Steve Patterson: "This burns me up. The "Were you hacked?" tactic remains effective. The subtext is: "To mention BCH positively is so embarrassingly wrong that I explain it by assuming your account was hacked. Because no serious person would say that on purpose." Powerful manipulation."

The things going for Bitcoin are the toxic harassment tactics, ad hominem, online bullying and abuse, intimidation tactics, and dwindling network effects. I am not interested in such people and such toxic behaviors. Being in Bitcoin Cash, I advocate it with a clear conscience based on its merits.

"I rallied around BCH and then promptly got abused, treated to the Twitter mobs. That was a terrible period, actually. I didn't like it because, I mean, I've always been a champion of privatized currencies, whatever form they take. I don't even care what you call it. As long as it's out of the hands of government. So to be accused of, yet again, of being part of a pump & dump scheme, a scamster, of all these things, you know, I was subject to harassment, intimidation. It was horrible. And actually, at the time, people had warned me that if I showed any sympathy for the fork at all, that I would be subjected to this. But it was far worse than I really imagined. And nobody wants to live that way. It's disgusting. Now, as far as I know, these days — and maybe I'm not that active or maybe I've just blocked all the right people — but it doesn't seem like the abuse is continuing as much." — Jeffrey Tucker

The media sector is always innovating — harnessing the latest and greatest technology to create and distribute content in the battle for eyes and ears. From virtual reality videos to CGI in blockbuster films to video game streaming, there's no shortage of ways to grab our attention .

1)Mediachain uses blockchain to automatically connect music to its originator and provide background information about the music. The independent, decentralized music library automatically gives a listener information about the creator, producer and lyrics to provide a more transparent listening experience.

2)Fluz Fluz pairs blockchain with social media on its e-commerce platform. The company offers cash-back rewards for shopping at some of the largest companies in the world, like Starbucks, Nike, Disney and Uber.

3)I've saved the best for the last. EarnBet is an online decentralized casino operating on the WAX chain providing state of the art block chain gaming services to its users. It recently partnered up with ChainLINK to benefit from its state of the art prediction mechanisms and is listed on Binance Dex and Uniswap. Its particularly a game changer as the trends indicate online casino's getting more organic traction whilst traditional casinos losing their popularity.

Bitcoin blocksize less than the size of a floppy !?

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 02:21 AM PDT

Do core developers really believe that a block size of 1MB is sufficient for a global currency when it is fully adopted? It is less than the size of a floppy disk to record nearly 10mins of global transactions!?

It does not matter if lightning succeeds or not, the bottom line is that the artificial and honestly ridiculous block size limit has almost killed Bitcoin scalability.

I am not pro bch or anti btc, I am just a normal guy who wants to see crypto succeed. At this moment though, Bitcoin cash is the clear winner.

Is Bitcoin.com having issues at the moment?

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 04:00 AM PDT

I'm experiencing issues both with the service I'm helping build and my Bitcoin.com wallet.

u/memorydealers, do you have a contact in Bitcoin.com that I can speak to about this?

Giving the same query to your api: https://rest.bitcoin.com/v2/address/details/bitcoincash:qq6j7ck8mnrxzlg3nj0sygn502yvxqu9w5h2xr3ehc

I get two different responses on two computers. One says that the address has the wrong format and the other says "We've got some trouble with our backend upstream cluster. Our service team has been dispatched to bring it back online."

Is there a status page where I can check the historical downtime of this service and whether it's currently available?
