    Bullish sign.

I've noticed that comments sections are now filled with people who have given up on XRP. More than there has been in months. Even after the 80% increase since the beginning of July, people are stating that XRP will take 10 years to reach ATH again. That is completely absurd. The crypto cycle is highly correlated with the BTC halvening schedule. According to the schedule, the start of bull markets were in 2012, 2016, and (guess what) 2020. Check: https://digitalik.net/. I think XRP is still in the capitulation and despondency stage in the market sentiment cycle, which represents a huge opportunity.

    1) XRP current price compared to ATH. With XRP price this low compared to ATH and with dramatic progress by Ripple in terms of partnerships during the bear market, it's a recipe for major price appreciation. It reminds me of how Jeff Bezos kept reinvesting in Amazon's production capacity in 2001, even though Amazon stock was crashing.

    2) XRP in 2020 is a better investment than XRP in 2017. Whereas the traction of other/small-cap crypto projects remain TBD, Ripple has been getting traction in financial institutions every week for the last two years. If you can't see that Ripple is a much better investment now than it was in 2017, then you are focusing too much on price.

The comments section nowadays are littered with the laments of weak hands, which to me is a very very bullish sign.

    Economic question

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 05:34 PM PDT

Just a neat thought I had, dont want to create hype, I just want to know if this would be possible. So the dollar has been overprinted through QE and the money supply has increased which causes the currency to lose value.

It seems like we need quantitative tightening- less money to restore value.

If Ripple and XRP can free dormant capital in Nostro/Vostro accounts what if they just destroyed that trapped capital ? Like all the money in the Nostro accounts got burned and replaced by XRP. Wouldn't that contract the money supply without harming the world economy ? It would be less supply of currencies and should increase their strength right?

Let me know your thoughts or if I'm totally wrong !

Can somebody please explain pricing dynamics of XRP

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 11:08 PM PDT

    Hi Guys,

Long time investor of XRP over here. It seems that so many people I've spoken to this week are starting to up their holdings in XRP again.

My question for the community is, how can ripple realistically ever exceed $10 in the short-medium term with such a high coin supply?

Can anybody explain to me how such a high market cap coin can ever compete with btc from a valuation perspective.

It should be noted that I do see the high utility of the coin and pre existing strategic partnerships, I just don't understand how the value can ever be captured with such a high supply.
