    Automated conversion of mining payouts

Hey guys, we know that a lot of you don't HODL your mining payouts and convert them into BTC or other stablecoins instead. We also know that doing that every time you get a payout can be a hassle, especially if you're using a CEX like Binance or Bittrex.

We are an instant crypto exchange service called ChangeNOW, and we would really like to help you out with that. All you need to do is create a recurring swap channel, hook up our payin address as a payout address in your mining software, and put in your wallet address where you'd like to receive your BTC, USDT, what have you. Then, all your mining payouts will be swapped into your coin of choice without you having to do anything extra. You can check it out here: https://changenow.io/exchange-gateway

What do you think? We're making this feature for you guys, so you have the call to make it the way you like - just tell us what we can do

Is there any danger in powering a GPU with only one PCIe connector?

    Posted: 10 Aug 2020 07:31 AM PDT

The Radeon 5700s have 2x 8-pin slots. But if you undervolt/underclock them, they should not use more than 130 Watts while mining. So if I connect only 1x 8-pin PCIe connector to it instead of 2, is there any danger of damaging the card or starting a fire?

    5700xt losing hashrate and wattage

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 02:16 PM PDT

My ROG STRIX 5700xt has been at 52.5-53mhs on claymore for 6 months now and it's starting to drop to 100w maximum pull when it should be at 120-130 and hashrate is dropping to 40-42mhs. Any ideas? I have tested different cards in this system. Have recently ran a 570 8gb in conjunction and have a 1070 8gb in the system I was testing. At first though I saw a correlation between msi being open and it happening, but not true. Then thought it could've been a power pull problem with other gpu's hooked up. Also not the case. I had just recently pulled two 1060s out of the system that had been running with it no problems it's entire life.

Edit: Considering now it could be the board. Cards run fine off risers. The second card plugged in runs fine whatever it is. Board is a ROG STRIX x470 with a ryzen 3700x. It Won't recognize or run my ram at 3000mhz 1.35 like LPX vengeance should run. Can get it to boot at 3000mhz, but if it does I better not touch the bios.
