stay away from the crypto.com scam - they cheated ICO holders Posted: 03 Aug 2020 01:01 AM PDT MCO holders should have receive 3165 CRO per MCO token at launch of CRO - this is the only way to have done this fairly. They have robbed us of our "potential" earnings as a 0.002% MCO holding is only worth 0.00001% of CRO holdings. - the potential to moon is gone. I consider this is to be a scam and robbery by crypto.com. you have shafted EVERYONE who has supported you in last 4 years for cheap profits and a ripoff of holders. yes - you will ban my unpopular opinion, like you did before, but I consider this to be more underhanded than the asset contract removal. you have lost my trust completely and I will scream it from the rooftops. How you could think that this is even close to being equitable given your suppression of the MCO price the last few months is beyond me. burnt by crypto.com yet again [link] [comments]

What are the pros and cons of bitcoin's UTXO based model vs Ethereum's account based model? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 06:08 PM PDT What are the pros and cons of bitcoin's UTXO based model vs Ethereum's account based model? Is one objectively better than the other or do they serve different usecases? I understand from a high level the difference between the 2 but I'm not exactly sure the implications of such a decision. Any good podcasts or YouTube channels? Posted: 03 Aug 2020 04:39 AM PDT I'm new to Crypto and looking to learn. I saw the resources in the community info section, but I'm looking for a good podcast or YouTube channel I can listen to while a work to bone up on my Crypto knowledge. Any good recommendations? Former Cryptocurrency hater looking to learn Posted: 02 Aug 2020 12:56 PM PDT I had previously swore off bitcoin after losing ~$15k in early 2018. I was a new inexperienced investor/trader (i didnt even know the difference at the time) and saw what i thought was an opportunity of a lifetime to get on board with the future -> Invested heavily into GBTC early 2018 -> Instantly became a bagholder when it dropped -> it continued to drop with no end in sight -> held and prayed as long as i could then eventually cut my losses and moved on. Initially I blamed bitcoin for my loss and considered it a scam like an immature twat but now i know better. The only reason i lost money was because i made mistakes plain and simple. Currently i am loosing faith in the US dollar...and the US in general. The amount of money printed this year makes me want to fucking barf. My savings being robbed via some backhanded bullshit called "inflation" annoys me to no end. I have made some money on gold this year but was thinking last night about how closing my mind to crypto not only goes against my free market beliefs, but that cryptocurrency provides me a direct means of expressing "fuck the feds" via my wallet. I have a hard time simply googling this topic because of the widespread hate or bagholder promotion so starting here among supporters. Looking for some opinions on what you believe the most viable long term CCs are? Which ones have the most potential and why? I would really appreciate if you could recommend some educational videos or articles from what you consider a trustworthy source. Thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Aug 2020 03:49 AM PDT I've not paid close attention to crypto in a while, but apparently, it's 2017 again, so I'm again ready to drive the car headfirst into the pool. Looking for good resources to catch up on the most important details and happenings. If anyone could point me in the direction of particularly useful blogs/YT channels/podcasts or have recommendations on themes/trends, I should most read up on. I'd appreciate it. Ethereum Transaction Fees Now Account For A Large Portion Of Miner Revenue Posted: 02 Aug 2020 03:57 PM PDT

Posted: 02 Aug 2020 11:26 PM PDT Absolute beginner when it comes to crypto. Never really had much capital to throw into crypto, and now I have about $300~ in my CB Pro acc. I basically just Dollar Cost Average buy, but I use stop orders to minimize loss in case of a crash. My question: What is the purpose of a gap between the stop price and the limit price in a stop sell order? Can't you just make them the same price to guarantee selling at that stop price? Starting small with coinbase and wallet Posted: 02 Aug 2020 02:40 PM PDT Total newbie here but have created a coinbase account and wallet. Plan to make weekly investments and have bought BTC, ETH and XRP for a start. Question is I'm not sure when exactly is ideal to transfer from Coinbase and into wallet? I understand the value of each currency is still subject to market conditions. So is transferring into a wallet just for added security i.e. a safeguard against hacking-related issues? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 02:36 PM PDT I just asked a question in their sub about BUSD and it got removed by mods: https://np.reddit.com/r/binance/comments/i2hxgc/binance_usd_busd_some_questions_about_backing_and/ The question was very simple
Not sure why would they simply remove the question. Is this token backed by dollars? Is it possible to withdraw it to fiat? That's all I asked. Strange. [link] [comments]
Chainlink transaction stuck for 19 hours Posted: 03 Aug 2020 04:54 AM PDT I have a LINK transaction that has been stuck for almost 19 hours. Original estimated confirmation was 2-3 hours. Now we are here. I did a low gas amount of 20 gwei because it was giving me the 3 hour estimate. What can I do at this point? [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Aug 2020 04:45 AM PDT The united states defines gamblings as:
Exchanges listing this gambling crypto will likely regret it later when it gets crypto regulated for blurring the line between online gambling, commodities, and ponzi schemes. This is very bad for the crypto industry and we should not be listing this on exchanges or even calling it a cryptocurrency. [link] [comments]
