    Quick roundup of cryptos in the last 7 days — dips, but still positive outlook. What does the week ahead hold?🤔

    Crypto markets slipped over the last 7 days, but this doesn't necessarily mean a downtrend is upcoming.

    Overview:

    • Current crypto market cap is still sitting over $370 billion.
    • Daily average volume hitting peaks around $23 billion, but currently sitting around $12bn – $13bn.

    Bitcoin dominance has been slipping over the last few months (YTD chart below), dropping nearly 10% since May 2020 — currently sitting at 58%. Ethereum now takes over 12% of the total crypto market cap, with XRP taking up around 3.5%.

    With many alts surging over the last few months, we could see BTC dominance drop quite a bit. That said, BTC dominance in the future is still pretty hard to predict — if you have any thoughts on this I'd be interested to hear.

    Again, many other cryptos seeing huge rises, especially cryptos outside of the top 100 (take a look here >> https://www.livecoinwatch.com/gainers-losers)

    Many top cryptos are also seeing sizable losses over the last 7 days. However, I would consider these as healthy retracements. For example, $LINK has dropped over 17% in the last 7 days, however, fundamental and technical indicators both show strength for the Chainlink in the long-term — and it's still up nearly 100% in 30-days. .

    Key resistance levels to be broken:

    BTC eyeing a break past $11.8K to head up to the $12K level.

    ETH transactions cost drop:

    After a lot of controversy around the average cost of transactions on the Ethereum network, transaction cost dropped significantly over the few weeks, currently sitting around 2.2 ETH (chart below from https://ycharts.com/indicators/ethereum_average_transaction_fee). While still pretty high, this is decent progress.

    Week ahead for crypto: Are we going to see more downtrends? Or will we see rebounds towards yearly ATHs?

    While I want to be optimistic, it may be more sensible to be cautious, as further dips may come before we see solid price rebounds.What does everyone else think about the week ahead?

    So the trend right now in the crypto market is making more money while you do nothing .
