Master thesis regarding Blockchain in the Food Industry - Interviews required Posted: 03 Jul 2020 04:46 AM PDT Hey everyone, I'm currently writing my master thesis at the Erasmus University Rotterdam as part of my Strategic Management degree. Posted this before, but wanted to post in an EU friendly time. Research Topic For my thesis, I am doing qualitative research to build out the theory surrounding firm adoption of new disruptive technologies. Currently, large corporations are confronted by new technologies that could have a big impact on the firm. Managers of these firms cognitively frame the technology, deciding how the technology fits within the organization. The purpose of my thesis is to explore the role of the technological complexity of the new technology on the cognitive frame of a manager. As a specific research case, I will use the Blockchain technology in the food industry. Interviews required This is where my request comes in. Data collection in my research will be based on interviews conducted with various parties that are involved in the food industry, such as blockchain solution providers and managers of large food incumbents. I am contacting people on linkedin/calling around but the search is quite troublesome. I was hoping someone on Reddit might have leads to people in the food industry that are confronted by Blockchain technology. Also managers of companies that considered blockchain but eventually decided against adopting (or have not decided yet) are highly appreciated! Feel free to dm me! [link] [comments] | ||
