Legit question about potential use case

Legit question here. Why isn't there a Ripple UI overlay app that synchronizes with whatever app your using to make an online payment and allows you to pay the vendor in Ripple instead at a discount to both you and the vendor (since credit cards usually cost the vendors a percentage of every purchase)? For example, I go to the Doordash checkout page, the Ripple app recognizes this, and integrates with the Doordash app. Next the UI overlay asks to pay in Ripple and I say yes. The payment in Ripple then does it's thing, goes through an exchange, and the vendor is paid in USD. This would allow for electronic payment, and would save the vendor money who would no longer need to pay Visa 3% or whatever it is. The user of the Ripple app would be incentivised by a discount, as would the vendor. Why doesn't this exist?
