The Ripple Drop: Driving Innovation, Collaboration and Productivity During COVID-19 and Beyond

XRP's adoption timeline is longer 5 years imo, probably 10. Workers in the back offices of banks (banking operations) do not like to innovate, since doing so may automate them out of a job. I think this is a factor that is not addressed enough, and is pervasive in many institutions.

I am spitballing, like many people on this sub tbh. BUT, having been in this space in some capacity for 7ish years on top of my experience in back office work for a bank, it just seems clear to me that the larger institutional banks are more than happy to sit back and wait as long as they can. If XRP is good enough of a product, it'll get there eventually. However, banks are so thoroughly regulated, and the regulators are so cautious, that I don't see how any of this plays out in 5 years.

Additionally, in back offices of banks, innovation is NOT something that is welcomed when it comes to systems that undergird the bank's operations. People are constantly getting automated out of a job in banking operations, which means that everyone is careful to not move TOO fast. There is a protectionist streak in the banking system that I don't think will go away quickly, and I think it is/will GREATLY affect the adoption rate of something like XRP.

Expect 10 years, and hopefully it'll be far sooner than that.
