Do you think that PayPal's step into crypto is a good thing? Posted: 23 Jun 2020 12:24 AM PDT Personally to me it seems like another Libra type event. I remember that over the years, they've been so anti crypto, as it's a threat to their business model. I'll remember that, and avoid them where I can. From a price perspective, it's actually probably a good thing that they get in the space, but from a petty internal POV, I'm super anti. [link] [comments] | ||

New dapp for prediction markets, running on Ethereum; good volume and user-centric Posted: 22 Jun 2020 12:10 PM PDT New prediction market built on Ethereum. Here's the web interface for it: https://poly.market/discover UI/UX makes sense. It has predictions related to covid-19, US politics and the crypto world. High liquidity is already there (maybe someone could explain how come it's so high). It's using Gnosis technology. It works without registration. Only metamask supported though. Posted: 22 Jun 2020 06:55 PM PDT https://decrypt.co/33086/honeywells-new-quantum-computer-edges-closer-to-threatening-bitcoin?amp=1 They reference that quantum computers might become powerful enough to break blockchain encryption, is that a real possibility? Posted: 22 Jun 2020 02:29 PM PDT A few years ago I bought all of $40 worth of Ethereum coin just to see if it would do anything. I left it on coinexchange.io and honestly forgot about it, I just now thought about it only to see that the site is no more. There isn't any way for me to get that back is there? [link] [comments] |
