    It's Fusion Friday!

    Posted: 15 May 2020 12:13 AM PDT

CashFusion brings exceptional levels of privacy to Bitcoin Cash, comparable to (or maybe even superior to) other privacy coins.

CashFusion is currently in "Alpha", but it's already been used to fuse 33K+ BCH, and has reduced the size of the UTXO set by over 4,000 outputs.

Early adopters, make sure to spin up Electron Cash 4.1.0 today and get that liquidity flowing!

New to CashFusion? No problem. Help us reach critical mass by becoming a CashFusion tester:

And here's the CashFusion Telegram group (where you can find the links to download the CashFusion alpha build of Electron Cash)

2 Years or Less Than 1 Year to Avalanche? Would BCH users support ABC to expedite development?

    Posted: 15 May 2020 12:16 AM PDT

Jiang Zhuoer Question: When can we expect to see Avalanche?

Well as pointed out it really depends on the resources that we have. Right now. Probably 2 years. Which I don't think is acceptable but this is what we can do with the resources we have. If we had more resources we can probably do it in less than a year. Avalabs did it. It's not like there is unknown. We know everything that needs to be done. Everything that needs to happen. This is 100% an issue of manpower... Yes. There is already a prototype for Avalanche that can confirm transaction in less than 2 seconds that is based on the node software release BCHD. Unfortunately this has been built by 2 people and we lost one of those people [Tyler] due to lack of funding. So right there we lost a few months right? Even if we bring someone back on board that person will have to learn and get up to speed to what Tyler knew and could execute right away. So right there by letting Tyler leave we added a few months to the timeline no matter the amount of resources [we get now]. But there is that prototype so you know we know its there, we know that works and we need to transform that into something that is production ready. What I've been doing on my side, so on ABC there is already a start of an implementation and some you know that I would qualify as prototype stage that is not production ready. And so we just need the manpower to transform that prototype into something that is production ready. And we know what needs to happen for that to work. It's not like Lightning Network where there is a bunch of open problem that we need to figure out and it's only 18 months away. If we have the manpower we can make it happen in less than a year.

The effects of the block reward halving are showing up in the BTC mempool. 70MB backlog and >120 sat/byte next-block fees. Where's Mike In Space??

    Posted: 14 May 2020 03:17 PM PDT

Every single transaction in the BTC mempool (all 80,000) of them can now be double spent by using a higher fee, no RBF required.

Why does BTC manage to have an absurdly higher price than BCH when BTC's stats don't line up with those of BCH?

    Posted: 14 May 2020 11:18 PM PDT

Just yesterday, I went onto bitinfocharts.com and looked at the statistics of volume and other things on the BCH network when compared to the BTC network. The only thing that I can see in terms of statistics that actually reflect the price difference is in the hashrate. When it comes to transactions per day, BCH has 1/6th of the number of daily transactions when compared to BTC. When it comes to average transaction value, BCH transactions are 1/8th the value of BTC transactions. Despite BCH having much better stats than what is reflected in its price, why does BTC still remain 41x more valuable? The math doesn't add up to me.

Do BitFinex and Tether even have a working bank account right now? Can somebody confirm what kind of bank it is and where is it located?

    Posted: 15 May 2020 02:41 AM PDT

Last time I read the news, all banks rejected Finex and some banks in Poland were even raided by police including confiscation of funds.

    Anybody know something more?

    Very curious.

AnyHedge.com – Bitcoin Cash Defi. Open Source. Decentralized. Future Of Derivatives.

    Posted: 14 May 2020 01:06 PM PDT

Today I wanted to write about AnyHedge because it starts a new chapter in Bitcoin Cash history. For the first time since the creation of Bitcoin in 2009, it is possible to hedge or long prices of any asset, such as gold prices, housing markets, Tesla stock price, oil prices, mining hashrate prices, etc directly on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

AnyHedge is open source and the goal is to bring in as much economic activity to the Bitcoin Cash blockchain as possible. I believe these economic activity can have a massive impact on the demand of Bitcoin Cash and leads to real world usage by financial markets currently outside of the crypto ecosystem.

However, blockchain development work is highly complex and requires very specialized skillset. And that's why the team behind AnyHedge is building the open source infrastructure to make it easy so that even an idiot programmer can do it. And when it is super easy for developers to do it, then we empower them to create more value directly on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, which in turn brings even more users and demand to the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. There is no doubt that Bitcoin Cash will overtake BTC eventually. The time to accumulate Bitcoin Cash is today.

The future of Bitcoin Cash is very exciting and I think it makes sense to thank the people who made AnyHedge possible. These people are emergent_reasons, Jonathan Silverblood, im_uname, Marc De Mesel, and Molecular. If even one of them is removed, I am not even sure AnyHedge would be where it is today. It is also super amazing to have talented people like Rosco Kalis and Marcel to reinforce this all-stars Bitcoin Cash team.

The best way to predict the future is to build it, and thanks to these people, they are building a bright future for Bitcoin Cash.

It's time to spread the truth

Hello everyone! I'm Marco, an italian guy and I want to tell you my story. When I discovered Bitcoin I immediately fell in love with it, it was like a revelation, I understood that it had the potential to change finance, the world, practically everything. The problem arose when I started asking myself some questions: why should i use SegWith or Lightning Network? Why not simply increase the block size? Why did they make Bitcoin so difficult? It was at that moment that I began to understand that something was wrong, every time I asked a question the answers were always the same: store of value and Lightning Network. I was hearing these replies like a nursery rhyme and the worst part is that people don't even know how LN really works.

Then I discovered Bitcoin Cash and together with many answers I also found a large family. Bitcoin Cash has changed the way I see things, really!

The second problem arose when I started talking about BCH on Italian groups, always the usual answers: scam, shitcoin, btrash, etc ... This prompted me to make a decision: open the first website in Italy that talks about Bitcoin Cash.

My goal is to make people understand what Bitcoin Cash really is and why it is better than Bitcoin Core. All this, however, without forcing anyone but leaving free choice, not like many youtubers who tend to distort reality and brainwash people. If you have any advice I am ready to accept any criticism!

If you want to donate something all the funds that I will receive will be used to improve the graphics and marketing of the site. Thanks so much!
