Stablecoins on BCH that can trade through ShapeShift Posted: 24 Apr 2020 09:35 AM PDT Are there any stable coins that can trade for other coins on ShapeShift but that can be sent as SLP tokens on the BCH blockchain? [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Apr 2020 05:43 AM PDT I see a lot of love for Monero on here which is cool, I think it's one of the most interesting projects in the space right now but I can't take to it myself due to how much an influence Fluffypony has had in Monero. Yes I know he's not the lead developer anymore but he was for a significant period and he would still exert a lot of control if he was to voice opinions on Monero's roadmap. What baffles me is how could he support the 1MB "solution" on BTC and yet constantly take digs at BCH when Monero has also implemented an adaptive block size limit? [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Apr 2020 06:09 AM PDT One of the main aspects that makes fiat-money valuable, which has become painstakingly clear during this crisis, is the illusion of scarcity. Even though, the central banks could print enough money to feed the hungry and house the homeless tomorrow, they will never do it. Instead, they create endless amounts of new money as QE, to increase the wealth of the already wealthy, or as bailouts to bail them out when they have caused yet another crisis by inflating the financial debt bubble to its limits. They do it in this way, because keeping the poor in a state of perpetuated debt slavery, creates an illusion of scarcity of money. Because for the masses the money is still scarce. This illusion of scarcity of that money is amplified with the fact that the money is created as debt and there will never be enough to pay it back. The masses have to fight among each other in order to pay back their debts. Without this illusion fiat money would become worthless almost instantly. Hopefully people will now use this opportunity to see through these screens of smoke and free themselves from this illusion. Bitcoin does not suffer from this problem, as it is actually scarce by design. [link] [comments]

Not looking forward to when the debate gets ugly again if this fails. I can only hope people put their money where their mouth is. [link] [comments]

Why is Bitcoin (BCH) adoption so slow? Posted: 24 Apr 2020 05:28 AM PDT We all know that Bitcoin (BCH) has huge adoption all over the world, especially in countries like Australia, Slovenia, the US, and many others. But why is the adoption so slow, why are Bitcoin (BCH) blocks only 0.1 MB in size? It's common knowledge that Bitcoin (BCH) is the world's best money. And we have 8 billion people on this planet. So why does BCH have so few transactions? Blocks are even smaller than the tiny Segwit Coin (BTC) 1 MB blocks. I mean, WTF? Is it being considered that this could be a blockchain bug? Maybe we already have thousands of transactions per second but we can't see it because the blockchain has a bug. [link] [comments] |
