CashFusion Fundraiser Goal is Complete! Posted: 05 Apr 2020 01:34 AM PDT Someone just donated 89 BCH to to put the CashFusion fundraiser up over the $50,000 target! Excited to see what happens with all of this. Thanks to Bitcoin.com for hosting it and matching the $50,000 contributed with $50,000 of their own. A very generous donation to advancement of privacy on the BCH chain. [link] [comments]

What was the name of the protocol that added usernames to the private keys you own? Posted: 04 Apr 2020 11:50 PM PDT I don't know which, but it allows people to attach usernames with Name#000 on it, and it's a way to ease transanctions by adding names to the address. What was it? BCH is really a p2p cash system, and I want to thank everyone Posted: 04 Apr 2020 03:45 AM PDT BCH is awesome. I can't lie about it. It's literally actual tangible cash. Well, sort of. Bitcoin Cash is something like, what Bitcoin (back in 2017) keeps claiming to be. Well... I mean, back then, I thought it was all investment and "mining for free money". My dad went and mined 0.01 BTC too funnily enough. I failed to make it grow, so now it's stuck as real PHP in my bank, with PHP 1000 as my BCH. Even though this might not get too high, it shows how true it makes. And then there are the BCH-using apps. Memo.cash, essentially a Twitter within the BCH blockchain, is awesome. It's secure, and when the time comes, people can use it as actual history one day. I mean, I'm reporting Philippines COVID there since no one is doing that. There's also read.cash and honest.cash. Nice websites, not within the BCH blockchain, but uses them as tips. I should write more stories. (I'd also like to thank that person who actually thanked the two websites here on Reddit). Satoshiwall.cash, probably gonna use this as Patreon alternative until I get my driver's license and use Paypal. Woof! Hmm. While Bitcoin (Core) itself was the reason, Monero being the anchor for me, Bitcoin Cash has my usage and eternal gratitude. ... Anyone know where to trade Monero though? Nah, don't answer it here. XD EDIT: Can someone please check why free.bitcoin.com faucet says that my region has received maximum amount of coins, though? [link] [comments]

[Question] What's stopping miners from taking back the governance of the BTC chain? Posted: 04 Apr 2020 09:09 AM PDT Something I don't understand, I'm probably missing something. With all the talk of Nakamoto Consensus and miners governing the protocol... why is it that the majority hash doesn't take back the BTC protocol? I understand what happened 3 years ago, but why didn't/don't they take back governance? Is the chain just under Blockchain rule and nothing can be done? [link] [comments]
