Posted: 21 Apr 2020 04:22 PM PDT I haven't been active on social media much because I didn't want to feel miserable from all the bad news the last few weeks. I was a recluse most of my life so the lockdown doesn't affect me at all, but the suffering and dying of the people did. I was feeling very miserable for a few weeks until I stopped reading the news and took health supplements. But I didn't write today to share with you my misery, but rather, how we could do something to make change. I got busy working on Bitcoin Cash stuff and it gave me a sense of purpose. It also gave me a sense of hope, hope that the future will be better off with a new financial system. Governments everywhere is printing massive amount of money for stimulus programs and sad to say, the majority of these money is going to the wealthy and connected people. The poor working class are given scraps and very screwed, hence the title "Get Some Lube". The people just don't know it yet until inflation arrives later, the lube would come in quite handy as the working class gets screwed. Governments tell you that there is not enough money for healthcare coverage, or free education, or housing but when it is time to give trillions of dollars to bailout their wealthy buddies, they can. Don't listen to their words, just look at their actions. It was never about the lack of money. What can we do? We can choose to exit the rigged financial system and start using a better form of money that governments can't print unlimited of and give to their buddies. For now, this means using and spending Bitcoin Cash whenever the opportunity comes up. Bitcoin Cash is a peaceful way of protesting and saying, "Enough is enough. We want change." A small story about how I discovered r/BTC, and some stuff I want to say Posted: 22 Apr 2020 01:24 AM PDT So, when I first went back to the Crypto community back November 2019, I was rather, hesitant. I just finished verification of a mobile wallet with BTC support called Coins.ph and it made me curious on the crypto it allows: BTC, BCH, ETH, and XRP. I went and shuffled money around, and once my father gave his 0.01 BTC he mined (which I lost like a fraction because of Binance, seriously that place is weird), I decided to keep it to my centralized bank. Fast forward to February, the bear drop of BTC and most crypto was like a new chance for me. I can finally get something good! So I tried the faucets. Which lead me to finding that CoinPot has decreased withdrawal rates. Well... BCH entered my crypto portfolio through Bitcoin.com. I'm just a gullible person. Any shiny thing and I go for it the last second. When I learned that BCH is actually faster than BTC (had tested the speed by placing PHP 500 or more or less 0.05 BCH , I took PHP 1,000 and placed it on my account. It was a fool's attempt, since Philippines just struck quarantine, and I can't do anything about it. The fast confirmation speed pre-Halving sold it for me, and I thought, maybe I can hold it for a while? After testing Keys4Coins by buying a steam card, it was really just a few minutes of payment, then I realized that BCH (and pre 2017 BTC) is really peer-to-peer. Back in 2019 until today I was trying to mine XMR (failed to retrieve it after dumping all my BCH and dumping XMR back, showing less money). Back in 2017, just a few weeks before the split, I was trying hard to get enough satoshis to have on my Electrum-built wallet. Which is currently empty. Right now, I decided to cash out 0.05 BCH because money is needed right now, and my PC froze while I was trying to mine Zcoin. I also decided to try a semi-unused coin named BLUR after asking you guys about what to mine with GPU. It's not worth it, mining. Now, let's say some things I want to say lately.
tl:dr; I'm an idiot with cryptocurrency, and BCH is working fine, no need to see anything here, just bored and going insane on quarantine [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Apr 2020 10:59 PM PDT If the diff adjusts in 1867 blocks with 2875 until the halving then after the diff adjusts there will be 2875-1867= 1008 blocks until the halving... but the diff adjusts every 2016 blocks so what gives? [link] [comments]
Recommendations for BitPay alternatives servicing online gambling industry? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 01:16 AM PDT BitPay have an excellent crypto-to-fiat solution, but do not service the online gambling industry. Cubits used to cover that space, but got screwed in a scam. I would like to ask the community's recommendations on PSPs who can provide a similar fiat-to-crypto service that will accept businesses operating in the online gambling space and offer same instant fiat settlement. Ideally looking for an EU based operation, but happy to look at all suggestions. [link] [comments]

What do you wish you knew when you starting using/investing in bitcoin? Posted: 21 Apr 2020 06:56 PM PDT Just looking to save myself potential frustration in the future. Bought some BTC (and a little ETH) recently with my stimulus check after learning about it and thinking the fundamental idea of crypto is pretty cool. But another part of me thinks it may be the dumbest thing I've ever spent money on. Only time will tell and I plan on just holding it until something big happens again, but do you guys have any insight you can share that might help out a newbie? [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Apr 2020 08:27 AM PDT Hey, I was just watching the video on the bitcoin.com YouTube channel with Roger Ver and Cedric Dahl talking about dark net adoption of cryptocurrencies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsMxKIxrSnc How widely accepted is BCH on the dark net now and are we still seeing that figure increase? Is there anyway we can track or even encourage adoption of BCH in these markets? [link] [comments]

What Does Your Crypto Portfolio Look Like? Posted: 21 Apr 2020 02:22 PM PDT Hi guys and girls, Following on from a post I made at the weekend about being 100% invested in Bitcoin Cash, there was a lot of replies telling me to diversify and not go fully in. Whilst I appreciate the advice I am not just 100% invested in BCH for purely ideological reasons, when I evaluate other projects I do not see how they can scale to go mainstream and actually achieve anything that could not be done either by BCH. I would maybe consider a small 10% allocation into ETH should PoS and ETH 2.0 go to plan but no more than that. Monero is another one that would maybe interest me however, I think Monero would be better served becoming a sidechain of BCH if I am honest. Just wondering who else is 100% BCH and who is diversifed and what projects you are diversified into? [link] [comments]
