Would you switch your rigs from mining to folding protein chains to help understand the Corona virus? Which projects folding do you know?

EDIT: RESOLVED

For those interested in how this was resolved I manually went through to the to device manager and right-clicked on the card selecting update drivers. Despite having added the drivers from the AMD site it found another and installed it. Back up to 28+ Mh/s.

Hi,

Wonder if anyone else has experienced this issue. I have sapphire nitro+ RX 580 4 gb card (single PC, windows 10 etc.) and until this last weekend I had been running at a steady 28-29 MH/s with claymore for ETH. At the weekend I noticed when I work up I was getting FAILOVER. So I shut the system down, left it for an hour or so and then came back to it. Unfortunately, after the reboot it seemed that windows was having an issue that it couldn't repair. After trying every repair suggestion including the a boot cd I was at a loss. In the end all I could do was a fresh install of the system. Since then I've updated the drivers for the card, reinstalled the AMD adrenaline software. Re-engaged compute mode, I even flashed the BIOS back to the original and then again back to the updated version I was running on. For some reason I only appear to be getting at most 8 MH/s. Can anyone think if I am missing anything? (note that at no point have I overclocked either in the past or now)

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.
