| Cracking old password with mining rig? Posted: 05 Mar 2020 04:24 AM PST Does anyone have a good guide or some pointers for setting up password cracking (jack the ripper?) With a multi-GPU rig? I have an ancient (20+ year old) password protected zip file that I have tried for years to remember the password to. Would love to unleash the rig on it. If its feasible to crack. One of my buddies knows I have several cryptomine, he knows it's not going to well, and he has offered to "rent" my cryptomine to, and I quote, 3D-render his scenes. He's an artist for a medium studio and they have to pay a TON of money to get the final rendering of a 3D scene; think, Pixar stuff. He's offering me $100 a day, far more than I earn mining.
