Posted: 07 Mar 2020 04:00 PM PST So I have had my Eos for a while and I was thinking of swapping it possible for Eth? Eos did just do a huge burn and lowered there rate to under 2 percent inflation On the other had ETH is going to have 2.0 and seems to be leading the way of defi and I know they have 400 partnership 🤔 Thought ?? What's the incentive to hold ethereum Posted: 07 Mar 2020 05:05 AM PST Stupid question incoming. I see many possibilities that ethereum offer. But running applications on ethereum and using the blockchain doesn't require holding a lot of ethereum, and when I've been using smart contracts on ethereum it's very very cheap. For that reason I only need to have 10-20 dollars at a time, and tend to have more tokens. This is often used as an argument to hold pure currency coin over platforms when investing. Ethash 2.0 Testnet - I want to contribute hashpower Posted: 07 Mar 2020 10:57 AM PST Following the last dev call and the suggestion of creating a perpetual ProgPow/Ethash 2.0 testnet, I'd like to contribute the hashpower of one gpu per major client for that. Where could I go to monitor the creation of the testnet? PM me if you're involved in that and we can coordinate. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Mar 2020 10:31 AM PST Hello, I am a new developer and I want to develop a stable coin contract, can anyone please suggest any codding tutorial or sample solidity code, I would be thankful. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Mar 2020 04:35 AM PST Can anyone point me to a resource for understanding how to transfer from Walleth to another wallet. It was very simple to receive but now when trying to broadcast a transaction with too low a fee, I can't seem to delete it and creating new trasactions isn't making any difference. Can smart contracts be removed by others ? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 04:47 AM PST Lets run the clock forward a few years ... Plugins like Metamask are common place and Smart Contracts can be accessed in a URL type format, posted as a HTTP links etc. All the technical barriers are removed and even unskilled users can post images & PDF's etc into the public blockchain for anyone to download. What happens when the general public starts adding real nasty stuff to the blockchain? Kiddie or terror stuff etc. Can a vote be taken to remove a smart contract? What happens if large nodes start saying I don't want to store this data on my servers? What happens if Law enforcement starts saying remove this content or we'll just go after the whole blockchain etc. Legitimate question. [link] [comments] |
