Can I recover my XRP without a secret key? Posted: 19 Feb 2020 01:40 AM PST Heres my situation, I think I know the answer will be no but I'm asking anyways. I bought some XRP a while ago and stored it on a Ledger Nano S. This was before Ledger live so I used the recommended XRP wallet which was a standalone Chromium app I think. I tried to access it for the first time in years the other day and the app has totally crashed. I downgraded a bunch of packages (linux) to try to get it running but no dice, theres been dozens of updates and all I did was keep breaking my system. I was know my XRP address and using the 24 word memonic and the BIP39 html tool I was able to generate my public/private signing keys and match the address it generated to my actual address. This still doesn't get me the secret key, it there anyway to reconstitute it from the info I have or is it generated randomly? I'm fucked right? [link] [comments] |
