GPU Mining 1070 Strixs Allergic to CuckooCycle.. |
1070 Strixs Allergic to CuckooCycle.. Posted: 28 Feb 2020 06:15 AM PST I have 4x Strix 1070's and many other various 1070's - that all hash on CuckooCycle Algo no problem on Aeternity using gminer with a fidelity of around 1 from each card (give or tike). However One of the strix's 1070's just cannot hash Cuckoo Cycle (Aeternity) & runs at a fidelity of 60 - while throwing mad lines of red errors such as "Proof of Work with N" & others I have tried everything I can think of to trouble shoot this card - too work on cuckoo-cycle (AE), from changing the 1070 to another rig. Also onto new riser etc etc, repasting - but still get the same results. Its like this one 1070 is allergic to CuckooCycle! Though it will hash away no issue on all other GPU algo's I throw at it so far - no problem. Hell this same card will run beamhash at 39 Sol's all day long!. I would love to know what is wrong with this card that it cannot hash Cucko-cycle and shows such a high fidelity rate of 60 on gminer. WTF? 🤷♂️ I even took it to my technician friend who ran it on various rendering stress bench test for which it passed with no problem. Also he inspected & tested the PCB to find No issue. Also tested the components on the board and its a healthy normal 1070 with no damaged nor broken components. I guess this one 1070 really is allergic to CuckooCycle. Perhaps this 1070 does not want to be Cucked! lolz Anyone have any ideas? ;) [link] [comments] |
Question: Exhaust Fan for a Small Room Posted: 27 Feb 2020 03:04 PM PST Need help from experienced miners! I have a small room of about 2.5 sqm (9 ft ceiling) that I plan to use for mining. I estimate my GPUs (5x 2080 Ti, 2x 1080 Ti) will use about 1.5-2kw of power. What should my ceiling exhaust fan specs be? [link] [comments] |
