    Newbie here...ETH paper wallet generator?

    Posted: 11 Feb 2020 03:52 PM PST

Newbie here, does a simple paper wallet generator for ETH exist anymore? MEW no longer creates them.... Just want to invest a small amount so don't want to buy a hardware wallet.

We're using Ethereum to make the ad tech landscape better

    Posted: 11 Feb 2020 02:52 AM PST

    Hey everyone,

AdEx Network is an Ethereum-based ad network that addresses some of the most prominent inefficiencies of the advertising and digital marketing industry: ad fraud, lack of transparency, end user privacy, etc.

For the past few months, we were in private beta, and that gave us a chance to improve a lot of things on the platform. We also managed to become the largest payment channels network on Ethereum: https://hackernoon.com/how-we-built-the-largest-payment-channel-network-on-ethereum-ky11r2h7c.

We're now happy to announce that AdEx is open for everyone and accepts registrations. You can read more about it on our blog: https://www.adex.network/blog/platform-out-of-private-beta

Do I retain my keys with MakerDAO CDP and Compound?

    Posted: 11 Feb 2020 03:56 PM PST

I've got some ETH locked in a MakerDAO CDP to generate DAI which I earn interest on with Compound. I'm using a hardware wallet. Do the keys to my ETH remain on the hardware wallet or are they being held on these services? I guess I don't fully understand Smart Contracts. Thanks.

    Staking questions

    Posted: 11 Feb 2020 06:31 AM PST

    A few staking questions:

    1. If you exit validation, and the contract returns your BETH, can you restart staking later with that BETH? I wasn't sure since the deposit contract interacts with eth1 chain

    2. For US tax purposes before 2 way bridge, would you consider ETH>BETH to be a like kind exchange? I wouldn't consider them the same token until eth1 chain becomes an eth2 shard

    3. Would you run a validator node on win10 or ubuntu?

    4. How long would it take for a staking node to be offline or have connectivity problems to drop from 32 to 16 BETH and be forcibly exited?
