    Marketing Ethereum Dapps

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 12:13 PM PST

I've noticed a lot of people want to help market Ethereum and it's amazing Dapps and apps. Myself included.

What I have done is created a twitter account called Ethereum Application highlights. https://twitter.com/Eth_Highlights?s=09

Everyday me and my friends will pick out an interesting application and make a tweet about it. Community suggestions are welcomed (and probably better).

The difference with this account and other Twitter accounts that give ETH updates is, this account will never mention price or complicated code. It will only be used to show off the applications running on Ethereum at the moment.

Please give the account a follow if you want to help spread awareness of the incredible applications that are available on Ethereum.

And if you have a Dapp you want to show off, feel free to message me.

Got a New Hero. His Name is Austin Griffith.

    Posted: 02 Feb 2020 12:33 AM PST

    Got a new hero.

    His name is Austin Griffith.

I've always felt that humanity evolves through language and language evolves through metaphors.

Austin Griffith is amazing in that respect. First off, he's brilliant. Second, he has the ability to project a technical concept into a huge allegory made-up of a series of metaphors with unique and innovative visuals. Really, there's so much going on with his videos.

I'm not a coder, not a developer, can't understand what is happening within his vids but I know I want to watch them. I'm like a dog in a library; I know there's something going on, I just don't know what.

If you enjoy listening to music but cannot play a musical instrument, you know what I'm talking about.

He's the type of person that comforts me in knowing that he is in this space and yet at the same time he is the type of person that terrifies me in knowing he is in this space.

It's weird that some people can be so advanced in such a short period of time in this crypto space.

Props to whatever type of super-human being that Austin Griffith is.

Degens - Bet on the Superbowl using Quantstamp audited smart contracts and DAI today!

    Posted: 01 Feb 2020 08:05 PM PST

The current odds on the Superbowl on the Degens Sportsbetting Exchange are:

    San Francisco (+114 / 2.14) vs. (Kansas City Chiefs -119 / 1.84)

Bet using DAI and smart contracts today! Good luck!

    Company/DAPP: Degens

    URL/ENS: https://Degens.com

    Category: Gambling

Social Media: Twitter, Medium, Telegram, Reddit, Explainer Video

    Code Repositories: https://github.com/degensprotocol

    Post Topic: Product overview

Degens is a peer to peer sports betting exchange that uses the popular cryptocurrencies ETH and DAI. We've been operating on the Ethereum blockchain since 2017:

"Degens" is a humorously self-deprecating term short for "degenerates", which originated in the sports betting and poker communities. With over $15,000,000 in trades since inception, Degens is one of the largest prediction markets built on top of Ethereum which is a proud recipient of a MakerDAO Community Development Grant.

    Benefits:

We believe Degens offers numerous benefits over legacy betting exchanges such as:

    • Lowest fees: Degens charges an industry low commission on all winning bets.
    • Anonymous: Due to the nature of blockchain, there is no need to sign-up or provide us your payment information information. No personal information is ever requested and all bets are made 100% anonymously.
    • Unstoppable winning: Degens utilizes ethereum smart contracts which means at no time are we in custody of your funds.
    • Cryptocurrency: Degens utilizes ETH as well as DAI which is the leading stablecoin on the ethereum blockchain. No need to deal with credit cards, bank wires, charge backs and the like that are common at typical sportsbooks.
    • Instant deposits/withdrawals: Since players directly communicate with the smart contract, deposits and withdrawals are immediate. Not any longer will you be told to "Wait until your withdrawal is approved. Please allow 1 – 3 business days."
