If I was the IOTA hacker I'd publish the stolen seeds

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 05:08 AM PST

IOTA has stopped their network by turning off the coordinator and is creating a migration tool for people to use while the network is down to move their coins to new accounts. Right now the assumption is that the only people who have the seeds are legitimate owners and the hacker so that if there are conflicting claims with the migration tool the IOTA Foundation will process people using some kind of KYC mechanism.

If I was the hacker I'd publish all the stolen seeds. If a multitude of people do a migration claim for each stolen seed that would cause complete chaos for IOTA and the claims process. What could stop someone from laying a claim to one seed and even doing KYC? There is nothing IOTA could do to resolve that properly.

This is not the first time IOTA has swept user funds and forced them to go through a seed migration process. Perhaps they should learn they can't keep doing this but instead should take security seriously in the first place.

New AI Bots In the Making: Exciting Opportunities for Partners!

    Posted: 23 Feb 2020 03:19 AM PST

OLPORTAL, the world's first decentralized messenger on hybrid neural networks is releasing new neurobots, after the humongous reception of OLPORTAL AI bots on the iME Messenger application.

iME messenger, seamlessly integrated with the popular Telegram app, was an instant hit on release. People of all ages from across industries are using OLPORTAL neurobots to enhance the quality of their online conversations.

The neurobots have been developed to serve a variety of purposes. Individuals use them to infuse a fun element to the chat or to make more meaningful conversations, while businesses are able to market their products and services organically using neurobots.

Fun bots, marketing bots or commercial bots, there is no denying that neurobots accelerate conversations and build relationships. Currently, the OLPORTAL platform has over 140,000 customers as a base to test the bots. But the platform welcomes new partners as well with arms wide open.

OLAI takes pride in being the world's first neurobot powered by artificial intelligence. OLPORTAL is making AI solutions accessible to every household.

How Partners Benefit from the Deal

OLPORTAL partners can make the best use of our new neurobots for free! The AI bots will be available on iME neurobots store as well as on OLPORTAL's marketplace.

The development of bots will be facilitated for free. For further modelling of the bots, users can seek help from our certified professionals in artificial intelligence and state of the art technologies.

OLPORTAL is providing potential partners with a unique opportunity to test their ideas, algorithms and scripts with the power and AI-enabled expertise of the neurobots. The bots can also be designed, trained and tested for free.

OLPORTAL has built a unique ecosystem for OLAI neurobots which integrates the neurobots seamlessly with our conversations. They take the conversations forward when you are at a loss for words or just busy.

What is in it for OLPORTAL?

How come OLPORTAL is okay giving away the neurobots developed with months of hard work to the public for free?

Since the neurobots have unique personalities, the trainers should be unique as well. This is how the platform ensures that the neurobots are skilled.

All users have to do is to communicate on their favourite messenger integrated with OLPORTAL neurobots and impart unique characteristics to the bots through conscious interactions. Or, you could provide the computational powers of your device to the platform

    Koinal account creating scam?

    Posted: 23 Feb 2020 12:54 AM PST

I've got a message from someone on my friends list on STEAM inquiring about creating a koinal account for him in my details in exchange for $100. Sounds suspect to me though he has offered to send $25 before hand. I was wondering if this is a common scam with crypto or my information is safe since its his payment method. Any response are useful since I am a nub when it comes to crypto although really broke so the money could be extremely useful.

    Liquidating all assets

    Just completed my 2019 taxes.

I just want to say it's way too much trouble than it's worth reporting on every little transaction individually. Which ultimately had me report +$2 profit.

Not worth staying in it to deal with this every year. Interesting experiment atleast.

    Tokenizing a commodity?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 10:01 AM PST

I know the idea of tokenizing tangible assets has been hot (and cold). But let's say, a physical product was tokenized like an island. X number of interested investors purchase this "Island" token. The price of the token goes up and down, just like any other investment. Fine. But what happens when the island is purchased? Do the investors receive the money from the purchase? Who would be the custodian of the island in this case?
