Posted: 24 Dec 2019 03:33 AM PST Need a little advice from someone who has experience with these cards. Which would be a better in terms of mining since they are about the same price, 2 x 5700 (non-xt) or 1 x Radeon VII? [link] [comments]

Might be time to retire the rigs Posted: 24 Dec 2019 07:51 AM PST Been mining since early 2018. Currently have 21 RX580's, 1 RX570 and 3 Vega 64's all mining ETH. But even though I get cheap power per kW/h (5.6 cents) the transmission fees I pay on top are killing me, I might only use $200 in actual power for my house but I pay 1.5x-2x that in transmission fees. I've nowhere near made back what I put in but I never expected to make tons of money starting so late in the game. And honestly only major problems were drivers/windows issues and never had a card fail besides one fan on an ASUS card and one or two risers. Also 95% were used mining cards to begin with. Probably time to throw in the towel and cut my loses. But I hate dealing with Kijiji/Facebook for selling things cause of low ballers, no-shows and general time wasters since I don't live close to a major city and most people won't make a 30 minute drive. Also hard to find someone who will take everything and parting it out to sell 1 gpu for 150 isn't worth it to me as far as time/driving. I would rather almost selectively give the gpu's away to kids, locally is possible, that may need an upgrade but can't afford it (might keep a vega64's or sell then separately). If anyone knows of a subreddit or other place for that kinda thing I'd be down to ship out cards within Canada. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Dec 2019 08:24 AM PST Is anyone mining with p102-100 cards on x16rv2? It is my understanding that it is the same core as the gtx 1080 ti but i am averaging only 21.5-24 mh/s per card. Online calculators say i should be getting 29-31mh/s. OC: +100/+500 / 180w power limit. SMOS Trex 14.6 Thanks. [link] [comments] |
