How can I give Bitcoin to someone who has never owned it? Posted: 21 Dec 2019 04:02 PM PST My family is having a secret santa gift exchange and I want to give some bitcoin as my gift. Would I have to create an online wallet and send bitcoin to it then give them the login info and security keys on a flashdrive or something? Along with instructions of course. Does anybody have any other ideas on how to gift botcoin to someone who doesnt have a wallet or anything? [link] [comments]

Question about potential job scam - need advice Posted: 21 Dec 2019 11:54 PM PST Hey everybody, hoping for some support from someone who knows this stuff. I know nothing about cryptocurrencies, but I got a support job offer with a company that supposedly does block chain crypto trading, and since it's a remote position, I'm having difficulty deciphering if it's a scam or a real gig. I hope for it to be real, so I don't want to keep my bias from making an informed and safe decision before they receive personal information that could hurt me. I've been job hunting for a while, and this email popped up for this position. I can't remember if it honestly is one I applied for (it arrived as a suggestion to apply for a related position, but it wasn't a reply to a previous email), or if it snuck in between the cracks and it's a scam. Anyway, I've exhausted everything I know to find answers and everything turns up as "well, maybe this is legit, but it could also be fake." Nothing feels reassuring, but I still need work and if it's real, it'd be a nice gig. I'm worried it's too good to be true. Perhaps the internet could help me? The company is called White Coin Ltd. Anything helps. [link] [comments]
