1B USD / day through ODL would only require 120k USD tied-up per 10sec

    Hi,

Perhaps I'm missing something, but to me it seems that the very fact that ODL/xRapid is so fast, doesn't require much xrp's to be tied-up per transaction time-window. Like the headline points-out; if transaction window is around 10sec, we only need a fraction (of a fraction) of circulating xrp's to be used at any point in time. Things would look very different if the transaction window would be one day or so.

As the xrp-pool is 51B, it would require tremendous volumes (Trillions of dollars / year) to have any meaningful increase in demand and thus impact on xrp price.

Currently we are crawling along with 1M* USD per 24h, which is about 120USD / 10sec window.
