Posted: 07 Nov 2019 06:29 PM PST Hello, I need to download the Ethereum Blockchain (specifically the last 365 days, but the entire thing works just as fine) but that can take a few days, so instead I'd like to know if anyone by chance knows somewhere I can download it from as a zip or something? I've found such thing for other Blockchains but not for Ethereum's (at least not any that are up to date) So if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it [link] [comments] | ||
Can we talk about issuance reduction for the Berlin fork next year Posted: 07 Nov 2019 07:01 AM PST I understand that Istanbul will not include an issuance reduction but can we have a discuss about possibly including one in the Berlin fork. ETH 2.0 has to take the time it needs and can't be rushed but we should not over inflate ETH anymore than it needs to be in the meantime. A higher ETH price drives interest in the space and attracts talent. Maybe a two tier decrease builtin to the Berlin fork could work. For example: immediately after the fork issuance is reduced to 1.5 ETH/block then after 3 months it drops to 1.25 and after another 3 months to 1 ETH/block. Any other ideas or thoughts? When will the x8 blocksize increase happen? Posted: 07 Nov 2019 11:57 AM PST It seems some of you aren't even aware that this is happening Source https://u.today/ethereum-20-increased-block-size-for-unmatched-speed https://www.trustnodes.com/2019/11/01/ethereum-to-increase-the-blocksize-by-8x In my last post I was told the blocksize wasn't going to increase. Yet multiple sources claim it is. My question is.. WHEN will this happen? Will it happen at phase 0 or at the end of ETH 2.0? [link] [comments] |
