Very stupid noob question: Can someone please explain how trading is profitable?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 11:47 PM PST

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but anyways. I'm very new to the CryptoCurrency, and I try to learn as much as possible, but I just can't understand how trading crypto works and why even bother if you could just hold. For example: you would trade on the bullish market on the highs and lows and you'll get 280% profit at the end but at the same time if you just hold it and wait, you would get 300% profit and you'll save yourself time and you wouldn't be as anxious and paranoid of losing it every minute throughout the month. Or this is not how it works? I just can't grasp how people make any profit.Again, sorry if it sounds completely ridiculous to you, I just want to learn.

    Thank you.

Noob question: why do US residents have to use Binance.us instead of normal Binance?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 06:53 PM PST

I'm in Australia and just curious as to what regulations in the US forces people to use different exchanges.

Why do US citizens have to use Binance.us and other US based crypto exchanges instead of international exchanges. And what happens if they do? How come other countries don't have the same problem and how is this affecting the crypto industry?

    Diploma Project for School

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 08:59 AM PST

Hey guys, for a diploma project I've chosen the topic of cryptocurrency on the market and the story of bitcoin. I thought for a start it would be the best to just ask you guys if you got any ideas how to structure my work. I want to write about the market volume, currency safety and votality, investor safety and the phenomen of bitcoin.

I am sure there are a lot of people in this sub that know way better about cryptocurrency than I do and that's why I ask you for help. I look for articles that may already summarize the development of cryptocurrency on the market so far.

For the practical part I would love to know if I could ask some of you a few questions about you, as a current, former or future investors of Bitcoin.

Thanks in advance for all your help and support
