Bought my mom a new car - thanks Satoshi! Posted: 11 Oct 2019 07:08 AM PDT I bought 14 BTC on February 28, 2016 for around $6k. Just sold 4 to buy my mom a new car, with some left over to pay taxes. I asked, but the dealer wouldn't accept BTC. It is the first new car my mom has had in 25 years. [link] [comments]

Bitcoin community: support Hong Kong! Posted: 11 Oct 2019 09:36 AM PDT The similarities struck me. Both are revolutions. Both are fighting against extremely powerful enemies. Both are fighting against tyranny, oppression, fighting for freedom. Both have been accused of being associated with criminals, of being destructive, when in fact their enemies are the real criminals walking large. Both are being ignored, betrayed or derided by companies and businesses. Both are characterised by an enduring hope for a better future. Both are happening now. If you support one, shouldn't you support the other? [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Oct 2019 03:21 AM PDT This would be my first trade. I see buy/sell on Coinbase. What's the difference between using that to make a quick profit (get my feet wet) vs using another platform to sell, such as kucoin or gdax? [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Oct 2019 03:54 AM PDT I need your help! A friend of mine is in her last year of law school in Belgium and is going to do her master thesis about the legal aspects of crypto currencies. Later on, she would like to focus on fraud, legislation, role of the banks, regulation of the crypto market etc. She would like me to help her getting started with this. I can explain her the basics of bitcoin/ crypto but I know very little about the legal aspects of it. So far, I got a short list of things I think would be relevant for her:
I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me to expand this list or give me some links to help her out! Also, is there a good ppt presentation about bitcoin in general or/and about the legal aspect of this market? That could save us some time :) [link] [comments] |
