Question bout a bitcoin segwit(help me please)

I posted a similar question a few days ago, but I don't understand clearly.

First, I'm taking a lecture about blockchain and a bitcoin in udemy. In the lecture, the teacher said that

the block size is still within 1 megabyte.

but when I read a article in google, I found this line

"The Segwit blocks which include the witness data can be over 1,000,000 bytes. "

    I'm really confused now.

    1. after the segwit update, what's the block size ??
    2. the picture below is an appropriate block after the segwit update? (suppose witness data includes signature, receiver.. etc)
