If you created your wallet using the Mnonenic Phrases you do not have a private Key. Posted: 12 Sep 2019 04:47 PM PDT I received the above answer when querying about why I could not find my private key to MEW. What does it mean exactly that I do not have a private key but rather just my backup Mnonenic Phrases, i.e. the two dozen back up words to use if you lose your password? What is the difference, ie can I do the exact same things with or without an actual PK? I've been told by Theta.org that in order to recover THETA that I transferred to MEW, I needed to create a Theta wallet and then plug in the Private Key to MEW. But ...
