Anonymity of tornado.cash mixer Posted: 09 Sep 2019 04:00 AM PDT Hi, how exactly does it work that the contract can verify that the user chose an unspent commitment but nobody else can see which commitment was chosen? The image below is from the github page and tries to explain the idea. However, when the user submits their nullifier part of their commitment during the withdrawal process the contract does know which deposit belonged to this commitment to mark it as spent, is that right? Why don't all ERC20 TXNs use the same amount of gas Posted: 09 Sep 2019 03:38 PM PDT Remedial question, I know, but I can't find a good explination. If I look at all the TXNs for some ERC20 token "$BAT", why do I find that different TXNs used different amounts of gas? Shouldn't standard EX: I thought Gas Used was a product of how many VM operations were required to run the TXN. If they are all against the same smart-contract, shouldn't all [link] [comments] | ||
